Shangri-La-Frontier ep 6 adapted Chs. 10-12

They delivered on this fight perfectly. It perfectly demonstrated the rivalry between Sunraku and Arthur. It really highlighted that Sunraku's gaming skills is a giant asset in SLF. Animation and fight was on point.

We went from a solid 1 on 1 with Sunraku, vs Arthur. To Sunraku facing a 1 vs 4 situation. Now receiving help from Psyger-0. Anime makes Psyger-0 actually being an innocent maiden in love even more hilarious when you hear her talk.

momo needs to master the hybrid form and learn how to use the sword that was left by oden.

Not having the disappointment of waiting every month to read the last 5-6 (or whatever number it was) chapters of the manga, and not caring about the non answers and the ending in general, the AOT movie was a cool watch.

It still has the same problems as the manga but Mappa did an awesome job with the animation and not caring one bit about what happens in the story anymore certainly helps to focus on the good things and shrug off the bad writing and just puzzling decisions Isayama made to execute an ending that makes "sense" (so to speak) in a vacuum, but leaves a lot to be desired when it comes as to how he presented it and wrapped it all up.

I mean, I've been reading the hope of Isayama making things tighter and giving better answers to some stuff since the manga ended. Not surprised it got bigger with the anime taking sooo long to finally end.

Dark Gathering Ep 18 finished adapting chapter 22 as well as chapter 23.

Off the cliff hanger from the previous episode they concluded this arc well. Ultimately the father with the big regret that instead repenting for killing his wife he should have lead his daughter on the right path. Yayoi-chan giving him the job of scaring people off from this places to keep the graduates as a way for him to repent. Again Yayoi-chan has her principles she stays by.

We also got to some fun scenes with Eiko and Yayoi-chan checking up on Kei. Well they are just making sure he is prepared to rejoin them . Following the scene before this arc Eiko has steadied her resolve. The thrill is something she purely enjoys. Considering what she has experience in these past 2 arc there is no going back before.

We see Ai's god beat down Spectre of Death and revive it and advise it to get stronger. It does so by beating Kishimojn. But JFC you see SoD purely torturing Yayoi's mom and shyt is so sad and depressing to watch . On one hand it gets you invested more in Yayoi-chan's hope of rescuing her mother, but at the same its so sad to watch.

I mean, I've been reading the hope of Isayama making things tighter and giving better answers to some stuff since the manga ended. Not surprised it got bigger with the anime taking sooo long to finally end.

But compared to Bleach there was a clear indication the anime would offer answers that didn't get explained well in the manga.

Meanwhile with what Isayama said is more with his disappointment with how it went out. But that turned into an assumption by the fan base that he would heavily get involved with the anime to have an anime original ending. Saying the last 3rd of last night's episode was rushed is an understatement. It was a full on sprint to the finish line. Imo a considerable amount of original content would be needed to get it on the right track.
