Finished Vinland Saga S2. Binged it this past weekend.
Not really what I was expecting watching Thorfinn farm all season with minimal fighting overall. Thorfinn's introspection being the focal point of the season with Einar acting as a tether to his past, present, and future, all brilliantly written and animated. I probably won't watch this again because the storytelling is so well done you leave with a clear idea of what it was like living in that period of time and how depressing and sad it was.
Hard to top the first season, but this one was incredibly engrossing. What a season!

OnK wrapped up season 1. Great adaptation elevating the manga and great anime on its own. Only nitpick from a manga reader is that it didn't give anime original content for Ruby to start building on. Since in the longrun she will need it. Perhaps they extend tokyo blade arc for the whole S2 to give her stuff to build on.
Final episode adapted Chs. 38-40 pretty faithfully. Outside of the idol performance with Kana focus it was mostly a tease for the next arc. Which is by far the best arc in the manga.You can start off straight on Ch. 41 if you want to start reading. I would reccomend staying anime only for S2 given the quality of the adaptation.
It was kinda of a given due to how big the anime was. It was always a matter of when rather then if.
Shibuya arc deserves all the hype. But Gojo's past arc is such an important arc they gotta nail. Personally it is my favorite arc.

Craziest thing one minute you got a well written plot with great action and the at the same time it can transition to some of the most wtf, but hilarious comedy in recent anime but transition back into that well written plot. Series is one of my favorites for good reason.
Honestly I feel like a lot of times with Manga readers that they confuse bad and disappointment.
Like I love Jigo manga and I am enjoying the anime for what it is, but I'm def disappointed when you consider how well they did JJK S1 and what their body of work is.
Record Of Ragnarok is one easy example of a bad adaptation. You don't even need to read the magna to know it was bad.
