But man series is dope tho I already read it all

Been a year or two since I caught up on the anime and finished reading the manga. The last part is pretty fast paced if I'm not mistaken, so the 2 movies thing probably isn't too bad of an idea.

So, I saw someone mention "Rising of the Shield Hero" and decided to give it a shot. Was actually pleasantly surprised until about episode 17 or so...

In one of the last episodes one of the hero's sidekicks has a whole battle with one of the strongest side characters to ever appear on the show, and ends up winning on a technicality. Said side character then threatens the main character's life if he doesn't fix things with the other heroes on some mature grown man shyt.

An episode later this dude basically has a chance to do that but decides to go off on the other heroes out of spite or personal ego, forgetting the whole threat against his life (which btw was warranted)

I turned off the episode mid way and I'm never coming back to this series ever again.

I feel it could have blown up for anime fans similarly to MT and 86. Considering how popular it is with 0 official release outside of Japan and Southeast Asia. Still, the issue with those platforms is that they haven't shown to handle anime properly. The way CrunchyRoll handled Spy x Family was great with 1-2 week wait for its dubs. Similarly, the same should be the case for CSM.

Granted Netflix has gotten better and anything is better then how D+ handled this series. At this point for an anime to blow up it needs to be handled by either CrunchyRoll/Sony or HiDive/Sentai. Having a delay for subs from the Jp release of these shows KILLS any hype that could come from it.

Anime can blow up without having a simulcast. DragonBall Z did. Only hard-core fans care about that. Casuals don't.

BLEACH has some of the best openings in the history of the game. Kubo has never lacked in the Style department, those openings compliment that.

Just watched the first episode of Soul Eater and this shyt is lit so far. The animation looks so good for it coming out back in 08-09.

I love the environments and all that. I can tell I’ll like this show.
