Eris age 8



Her development as a fighter is one of the key points of the series to me. Nothing is given to Eris, doesn't have any innate special powers, she just works hard and is driven to become great more so than anyone else. That sparring session with Ruijerd was meant to highlight just how far she's come from that bratty noble that who could barely lift a real sword above her head.

how helpless she is against Orsted. That sequence shows you how much Eris has grown as a warrior and sets up how much stronger other people in this world are once they face the Dragon Gawd. Turning Point 2 shapes Eris more than any other character as basically every decision she takes going forward is based on this Orsted confrontation.

Ghislaine, Ruijerd, Rudeus were her standards for strength in the world. Two of them got smacked by a real one who was barely even trying. That'll shift your perspective.

I have so much respect for how she responds to this. What a character

I found Rengoku's father completely tragic. Even if they don't talk about him anymore, to go from a former slayer to trying to "be a man"/drunkard, just breaking down like that, as you know the rest of his life is going to be full of regret not being a better father to him.

But then the next thing you know, the Swordsmith comes out from the bushes and chases Tanjiro on some Looney Tunes shyt for a whole day because he broke another sword.

Demon $layer premier was ok. pacing was slow and I think the one fight was an anime original. Don't remember Tanjiro and Nezuko vs that demon in the manga before meeting Tengen. The rest should be better though as they speed things up, we get to the red district and see the flamboyant sound gawd in action

Thought it was hard to follow the fights of this arc in the manga, maybe it was the scan that I was reading but the art wasn't very good. The anime is gonna fix all that.

Mushoku Tensei anime is getting bushed after this season. I'm not gonna be sitting around waiting years on this to catch up. Just gonna switch to the light novel.
