Keeping up the trend of completely ignoring this garbage ass season

Just finished finally watching all the Studio Ghibli movies....saw most of them over the years but never took the time to watch them all

So Many classics.....
five were garbage to me two are highly rated by people so I was kinda shocked

Top Ten (other than Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind which is a masterpiece but pre-ghibli)

Princess Mononoke 10/10 (duh)
Grave of the Fireflies 10/10 also damn
Laputa, Castle in the Sky 10/10
The Cat Returns 9.5/10 (this should have gotten the love that Spirited Away got)
Porco Rosso 9.5/10 (very underrated)
Pom Poko 9/10
The Wind Rises 9/10
Kiki's Delivery Service 8.5/10
From Up on Poppy Hill 8.5/10
When Marnie Was There/Arrietty 8/10

Spirited Away, Ponyo and The Red Turtle were also good but I didn't like them as much

My Neighbour Totoro (Cat Bus aside this movie did nothing for me don't understand the love for it
saw it as a kid didn't like it then either not bad but very MID and overhyped to hell and back)

Tales from Earthsea (poor adaptation of the book 2/10 shyt kinda shockingly bad had potential obviously)


Ocean Waves (Hot garbage about two high school boys simping over a girl who is a total bytch! zzzzz)


Earwig and the Witch (CG, barely even seems like a Ghibli movie for bunch of reasons)

Howl's Moving Castle (animation and music aside HOLY shyt this is fukking BAD what is wrong with people
.....1/10.....if you care about any of these characters you might be as dull and uninteresting as they are LMAO@ the 'plot'
a lot of interesting ideas in this if you pay attention I get the "Underlying pigments" but whatever they were trying to pull off failed HARD)

Her development as a fighter is one of the key points of the series to me. Nothing is given to Eris, doesn't have any innate special powers, she just works hard and is driven to become great more so than anyone else. That sparring session with Ruijerd was meant to highlight just how far she's come from that bratty noble that who could barely lift a real sword above her head.

there's a lot of ramifications that come from turning point 2. Some immediate, others well down to line. Eris is one to watch moving forward as she's not one to take defeat lightly.

Does the 86 have enough of material for a third season or it's going to be a while?

There is enough source material for another season. But I imagine it will be probably be a 2 year wait at least since it isn't as popular in Japan as some other shows.

It's also worth pointing out to get the quality adaptation will take time. If the next season were to came out within a year that would not be a good look.

I'm glad I transitioned to the LN on 86. It's not worth waiting for the anime.

I mean adaptation has been so good that it’s worth holding off and start to read from vol 1 when the session finishes.
