Hadn't watched Cowboy Bebop in more than 15 years and decided to re-watch it. Took my time with it, once a week for most of the eps. and man, if a show like that happened in 2021 the internet wouldn't know what to do with itself. A classic of classics

watching the 1999 version of Hunter x Hunter. Never seen it before. I've heard its better than the 2011 version for the arcs it covers.

this apparently never got a blu ray remaster, just 480p. But it's still aged well I think.

Wait till you get to the episode where it goes into her past. There’s a random out of place scene towards the end in a hotel room that had me asking why did they feel the need to add that in?

Imma read the light novel. I would loved for this season to be 20+ episodes so that the storytelling didn't seem too disjointed and rushed.

Interesting take. Most complaints that I heard that it has been too slow.

It feels like so many shows are split cours nowadays. Not a fan of that approach but it’s better then a rushed product.

I definitely wouldn't say 86 is too slow fwiw
