I'm about due for a rewatch anyways, but little stuff like that and Ruenthal's straight up genius being second ONLY to Reinhard is always dope to see. The foreshadowing and subtle development in LOGH is A1.

some demon slayer stitches. one of my favorite batches so far, partly because of how high quality the file was.
S1 was a 9.5/10. if only because I'm expecting the next season to be even greater based on what manga readers hint at. Enjoyed the central themes about the importance of family and sacrfice. Very simple, but powerful messages that anyone can sympathize with.
I wasn't as annoyed by Zenitsu as other DS viewers have warned about. Yeah his screaming and simping is fukking pathetic, but he does serve a purpose as comedic relief for an otherwise serious story. He does have his occasional moments of bravery that feel like triumphs because of how much he struggles to function on a day to day basis. He is an important perspective for viewers that can relate to being a nervous wreck that lacks confidence in themselves, even though they have the ability to be as useful as anyone. Not everybody is gonna relate to Tanjiro, fewer Inosuke.
The way that Tanjiro feels empathy towards demons who were once humans, while understanding that it is his responsibility to kill them for being a threat to humanity, is awesome. He knows what needs to be done and does it, but he'll hold their hand through the suffering. What a great shounen lead character. Doesn't really have any weird personality traits, like being an idiot or a glutton. Just an all around wholesome, morally upstanding dude.
Going to watch the film today. Maybe at night or something. Then going to read the manga after that.

That's the key & I've said it repeatedly. Tanjiro is a MC that you just don't see in Shounen very often, which adds a much needed layer to the story. Someone who is empathetic but doesn't allow it to render him unable to act, on the contrary it pushes him to put them out of their misery and their souls at rest.

There was a scene where he was fighting one of the spider demons. He could tell they had given up, wanted to be killed.
I was so sure he would pull back, try to talk to them....but he just used a technique to make their inevitable death quick and pain free
decisiceness like that is rare in shounen, indeed.
I'm not asking for spoilers, just throwing out something random off the top of my head
But I really wonder if he will have to kill Nezuko to put her out of misery in the end.
