I was wondering when is the next episode going to arriveonly to find out there may not even be a next episode ever
In my defense, the last episode didn't feel like a "last episode" at all. Usually last episode of an running series (eg ToG, MHA, or HxH) tries to end at a powerful or conclusive stopping point but they likely didn't want to fukk up the pacing.
You really shouldn't count on a season 2 anytime soon; possibly never. There currently isn't enough manga material for more seasons. Plus it's not all that popular in Japan so
Every time I watch Food Wars I feel like the creator initially wanted to create an epic battle shonen but got shut down and laughed out of the office. Then he came back on some fukkery. Dudes falling on the ground after eating something good like they took a rasengan to the chest

Dude is able to copy techniques just by holding kitchen utensils and he's using his powers to be an evil chef

Wonder Egg Priority looks like it might be a sleeper hit of the winter 2021 season. The animation is fuego

Hell, it might inspire them to get over the stove. I done made more than a few dishes from the show. All the ones I've made are great (I'm like 2 seasons or so behind though)
