I watch a wide variety of anime from Ecchi to Shonen to Shoujo to Senien to Josei. I'll be damned if somebody is gonna pick a single genre I watch and try to characterize me as some sort of fukking pervert over it. Especially when they don't even get the genre in question. Nobody sitting around flapping to some damn cartoons. Real porn exist. Cartoons are not sexually arousing to begin with.

I'll watch a battle anime, a romance anime, a slice of life anime, a harem ecchi comedy, mecha, a music show, even a reverse harem. Sorry my enjoyment of anime isn't simply limited to shonen and Senien in-line with shonen.

most in here are watching a variety of genres, so you're not preaching to people who don't understand what ecchi is about. its just hard to sell that you're watching the likes of Shinmai Testament or TLR primarily for the riveting action and robust comedy. even people who also like those shows would look at you sideways.

but, for as long as I've posted in this thread I've seen you defend this topic passionately. and it's always entertaining. so I'm not trying to convince you otherwise.

I'm watching those shows because they're dumb fukkery. It's the same reason I'd watch a movie like Freddy Got Fingered. I unashamedly watch real live amateur porn when I'm looking for that. Don't get it confused I very much am a unabashed porn addict but don't insult me as a porn addict by suggesting some animation and voice acting is even a blip on my radar of my sexual degeneracy because it's not.

The irony of all this is as much as a few small (but most vocal) attempt to complain about shyt like this or claim they’d rather write coli thesis and have deep dive discussions about ep 723 of One Piece, why the animation in AOT changed, is Jiren boring or not, or etc shyt.

This is the bread and butter of this section and what people really want in here. Chaos and fukkery.

All this pearl clutching about anime series with fanservice never ceases to amaze me.

It is so Jack Thompson vs GTA to assume because someone finds fukkery and absurdity in these shows so amusing that they must be getting their rocks off to cartoons.

In the end they're just stupid shows to be laughed at. Which is why when the humor is either removed or tasteless instead of silly like Redo or Interspecies I drop the shows.
