So I'm not up to date with any of the popular currently running stuff outside of Fire Force.... apparently The Promised Neverland just up and skipped through like a third of of the entire plot??? :gucci: And the arc/characters they chose to skip over was literally the best part of the entire fukking story; Goldy Pond has all the best action, characters, villains, and writing of the whole damn series :mindblown: Only reason I watched any of this show was cause I was waiting for stuff like Lewis and the Hunters fights to finally be animated... and now they just never gonna do any of that????:bryan::mjcry:The manga went to absolute crap afterwards too; the final arc is a tedious snoozefest and the ending is Gantz-tier contrived bullshyt. :scust:Skipped over the only interesting/sympathetic characters in the series that aren't annoying ass brats to bring back the twerp who's disappearance is supposed to be a season/arc driving narrative point after like 2 episodes :dead:

This why I don't keep up with 99% of this shyt anymore, #readgang always and forever will be undefeated when anime studios and producers continue to pull stunts like this. :unimpressed:
I'm hoping they're just trying to 'condense' some stuff and fukk with the timeline a bit :to: skipping Goldy Pond entirely is bullshyt

Mushoku tensei was :blessed:

bout 2 more episodes I think is when things take a drastic change in life and boy I mean is it drastic

yeah I watched last week and this week back to back (so much good shyt coming out it got lost in the shuffle)

It's amazing. It's not action packed.... it's just... a really good story.

The art and action scene at the end of this ep though.... it's like they're showing us how good it could be.... if it wanted to. :whew:

edit oh, and Paul/Dad ain't shyt. Scumbag ass nikka :mjlol:

in season 4 we've barely gotten ODM scenes tho, AND they were at night when most of the focus was on Eren fighting the other titans, Levi put on a fake fight and all mikasa did was support Eren briefly so where are the comparison really coming from so early? plot/action wise that shyt is not the focus right now so they aren't goin to be "found in s4" yet

idk it feels like people jumping the gun to nitpick :hubie: i been seeing it from both the anime and the manga side of things with AoT once people realized it was about to end

ep 65, 66 were largely ODM focused. got as much of it as anything Eren was doing. some examples -

none of this is bad. but when compared to the standard that AOT used to hit, which is some of the best production values in TV anime history, it's not comparable. That's all some are saying and that's a fair criticism to make when the expectations of AOT are so high. Doesn't mean the show is bad, I still think its great.

it being night time has nothing to do with anything. It's pretty obvious that they're trying to be efficient and make the show look as good as they can under the same constraints that made the prior studio reject this season. Understandable. Doing a good job considering that.

yeah, I'll admit it.

the directing is still on point, but the animation is almost like they pulled a netflix with some computer shyt, then drew over it.
