I would give the start a B. Like I said I like the premise as it's fresh... but we will see how it goes. One of the big problems with Otome Isekais, especially villains, is that the villain attracts lovers. Though with previous ones, they are not aware of it, but you have a guy who understands he is in the game and using parenting knowledge to try and help; so that makes it original.

Nice first episode to start off S2

Spoiler: The Apothecary Diaries Season 2 - Episode 1

Very fun first episode back. Jinshi becoming much more tsundere is not what I remember. Overall fun with the banter. My man Gaoshun really is the only one that asks Maomao some logically questions. He might be my favorite character in this series. Also, he is a cat lover. So relatable lmao. Maomao being proud of Xiaolan was pretty wholesome because from what we have seen of her she is rather eccentric, but never seemed to care for her future. Cool to see.

Lingli is adorable and precious. Though I am surprised she was able to spot the cat from so far away. Unexpected the spoiled princess crying not getting her way, but of course father spoils her. The fact that they will be worrying about who Lingli would have to marry even before she becomes a teenager is rather unsettling. Granted, these are the customs in this story.

Jinshi when he realized that Maomao basically is a cat herself, and he understood the appeal. Although giving the cat the same name as Maomao is a cruel thing to do to Maomao.

Watched two new seasonals today. The first being "I May Be a Guild Receptionist, but I'll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time."

As a reader of the Light Novel this getting the CloverWorks treatment was the last I expected. They nailed the feel of the series so well and Rie Takahashi is perfect casting. Her performance in this episode was perfect.
This isn't a groundbreaking anime by any means, but it is very fun, and the first episode did just that.







The other one was "Welcome to Japan, Ms. Elf!"

It takes the idea of escapism which we usually see in most isekai and reverses it. The idea of an elf coming to Japan and it being a more SoL Comedy makes for a fun divergent from what we usually get. Another chill and fun show by the looks of it.

Sidenote…. I love me some ”reincarnated” animes and got me a new one with “HeadHunter to Another Worlds: Salaryman..”

He created a copy of himself and made it his personal slave to go around selling shyt he made outside his family's domain. Kinda messed up.
