I still gotta finish the anime, but its the first Manga that I really powered through and finished in a short amount of time.

May as well have been Berserk-lite at many points, but they brought all together and the ride was dope from start to finish. Doesn't get enough love anymore imo

With all the comics, movies, tv shows, games, cartoons, etc i've experienced.. this one of my GOATs. Everything Gantz manga should've been when it comes to sticking the landing and making you feel satisfied if not thrilled with how each character arc wrapped up.

A female empowerment story that's really just a dope story about females whoopin ass and forming a sisterhood. Marinated with DBZ power ups and HxH technique fukkery.

With all the comics, movies, tv shows, games, cartoons, etc i've experienced.. this one of my GOATs. Everything Gantz manga should've been when it comes to sticking the landing and making you feel satisfied if not thrilled with how each character arc wrapped up.

Claymore's manga is fukking crack. I didn't even read manga like that til picking that up. It started off kinda slow but after that shyt on the mountain and that one on one at the lake all piff from then on.

I might have to run it back too. I remember reading the last 50 chapters all in one sitting and damn near OD'd

very few series I've seen get the respect that attack on titan has, in regards to the industry not treating it as a money machine. from a respect and emotional standpoint wanting it to do well which I felt they proved when the production took such a long hiatus after the first season to let the manga build up material. one way or another S4 won't be a trainwreck

even if the employees are laid out like because of it, which is a whole nother discussion. Attack on titan will be fine

I remember a lot of bytching but I was satisfied cause Teresa was my GOAT along with Mira.

Finished 1st season of Hajime no Ippo, 10/10!!

Great fights, great cast(even the non training/fighting parts was fun), loved the ost, really motivational too.

Ippo vs Sendo title match was just incredible, definitely my favourite fight of the season. When Ippo pulled off the dempsey roll and got the knockdown to start the fight
Volg vs Ippo was another great one, Volg had such a cruel end to his story, hopefully he'll be back later in the series. A top 3 character for me despite the little screen time he had. Sendo and Miyata are dope rivals for Ippo too, rooting for all of them. Mashiba the only one of his main rivals I don't really care for.
I liked that Ippo's first loss was in his fight vs Date. I was wondering when and how it would happen, they handled it really well. Can't wait for the stakes to get higher and they shift the focus more towards the world title(i'm assuming)

I see what you mean and don't at the same time. deku is pretty analytical and prone to disregard his personal safety in anger. I see that in clare for sure, but they're day to day personalities are waay different.

Deku was analytical for like.... 45 total minutes Outside of those early chapters, this is a dude who required a lecture and lightbulb going off to realize feet are for kicking. Dude is a scrapper by default who also takes handouts for a living.

When it comes to progression and development though (individually and the world around them), they're pretty much lockstep with each other.

I remember a lot of bytching but I was satisfied cause Teresa was my GOAT along with Mira.

I loved it, because we finally got to see them shoot a fair one.. and not that cheap shyt by Priscilla the first time.

Hell if this was WWE, i marked out when Teresa showed up on some '99 Backlash Stone Cold Steve Austin shyt.

All that scene needed was glass shattering and JR on commentary:

"Faint Smile! The Faint Smile is here! The Number 1 Claymore is back! And she brought a can of whoop ass! "
