Part 4 was perfect...its where Araki got to show off his writing. I love how the theme was slice and life with normal highschool kids.

Everyone has shows they like and dislike..that's just what it is.

Lol talking about moistness but Jojo isn't as moist as Naruto. The whole story was about an Orange wearing jumpsuit kid with whiskers stalking and harassing Sasuke from village to village. But that's another convo they not ready for.

shyt not even tongue in cheek like Jojo, Kishi was deadass writing this Brokeback Mt Fuji shyt :mjlol:

nikkas trying to get merit badges for stanning trash
Only Part 3 was full on monster of the week.
I'm a part 4 stan which is more slice of life and isn't monster of the week but people hated the slice of life too :manny:
Then there's part 1, 2, and 6 which aren't monster of the week or slice of life and people didn't fw that either :manny:

Brehs here called Jojo mango but then watched Banana Fish which just SOUNDS :dame:

Some anime are really just different strokes for different folks IMO. Just like some brehs LOVE Evangelion and some brehs hate it.

Im with you here. Part 3 was my 2nd least favorite for monster of the week stuff.

Call jojo gay but liking banana fish tho :mjlol: I was like

I agree with this reasoning for the most part, especially the last in bold. Show was weird just for the purpose of being weird, like a badass kid crying out for attention. Does it stand out from the rest of the kids? Yeah but for the wrong reason. There's definitely enough content out there that finding out someone doesn't fukk with 1 series shouldn't be surprising.

Threw Banana Fish in the bushes early though so we going to part ways on that one breh. :hubie:

Great analogy on Jojo with the jit crying out for attention. Definitely agree with that.

I know Banana Fish rubbed some people the wrong way for various non Harlem reasons, but that was literally its only flaw. Damn near everything else was done right. Animation was on point. Great soundtrack. Dope characters. Fast plot that never seemed rush. Great action scenes, the corrupt political and mafia and gang tie ins were on point. Mad betrayals and collabs. Felt like the Wire, but with more Omar nikkas.

I look at it like this...

Jojo = surface level :dame: with all the costumes and mannerisms. If you can't get over that shyt, then its not for you.

Banana Fish = beneath the surface :dame:, nikkas set up a dope table spread with everything you want, and then made it all perverted and twisted once it got you hooked. Hell, the same thing seems to be happening to Power book 2 Ghost. If anybody seen the last episode, they'll know exactly what Im talking about.

I think rezero royally fukked up and left a key important piece out of the anime
Correct me if I’m wrong but I could of sworn when all the witches were their they went into detail about stella and what happened to her and why she is the way she is before he returned to the real world

Just checked I was right they didn’t even bring up sage part and Stella had way more dialogue

this ain’t a spoiler if anyone wants to complain it’s part of the anime and they cut a lot shyt out during the witches meeting especially explaining Stella and her dialogue and how subaru feels toward her
shyt was very vital

I think only reason they did cuz they must of felt it would overwhelm viewers nonetheless it was important

Yea they did, they probably wanted to include Subaru and Roswaals/Ottos dialogue so they cut it

But it's lowkey important information :deadrose: they just skipped over it. Cut out the whole Satella vs The Witch of Envy stuff smh

I never got this. The only gay people in the series are villains who were killed and the only as far as we know Bisexual character was also a villain and is also killed. The main's aren't gay. And most if all leave their wives to pursue their own goals.
They aren't gay, they just do wild gay shyt :dame:

I'm a fan of Jojo too, but I get the complaints. Also the long-winded explanations mid-fight take people out of it too

ya the readers are confused as shyt why they cut it out
I went to the anime only reaction got roswal on some serious hatred :damn:
But yet clueless on the Stella and Subaru dialogue and her backstory :snoop:
This is worse than season 1 ending change
So I assume they gonna do another director cut and add it in like they did season 1 could be the route they are going
Besides that major exclusion great adaptation so I’m very pleased
Looking forward to the otto part tho

Araki said he wanted to tell a story that unnerved people where you couldn't trust your neighbor and that the veneer of peace hid something terrifying.

Broke Back Ninja fans better never diss Jojo.

I can't with this JoJo slander. JJBA deserves all the praise in the world for the fights alone. They work brilliantly as the characters first must learn to understand how the enemy's Stand works, and only then can they look for a way to defeat it using their own Stand's ability.

You'd think with a premise like that it would do a lot of asspulls (which in general happens a lot in Shounen) but Araki actually manages to write out the confrontations so well that it always feels like a strategic victory and not some convenient bullshyt.

Ehh I can see the reason why one would not be a fan of JOJO, but the issue is its weird they would choose to watch it w/o fully embracing the flamboyant nature

SC can be tedious however

This

I watched thru part 5 with my Ex. During the Clash/Talking Head fight I paused it partway thru and asked her "Would you be able to explain to anyone what you're watching right now?"

She was like

":dwillhuh:.......No, I really can't.:mjlol:"

That's the beauty of Jojo
