Only Part 3 was full on monster of the week.
I'm a part 4 stan which is more slice of life and isn't monster of the week but people hated the slice of life too :manny:
Then there's part 1, 2, and 6 which aren't monster of the week or slice of life and people didn't fw that either :manny:

Brehs here called Jojo mango but then watched Banana Fish which just SOUNDS :dame:

Some anime are really just different strokes for different folks IMO. Just like some brehs LOVE Evangelion and some brehs hate it.

I can see the monster of the week stuff getting really, really dry for a lot of people. Also, its wild mango
I never got this. The only gay people in the series are villains who were killed and the only as far as we know Bisexual character was also a villain and is also killed. The main's aren't gay. And most if all leave their wives to pursue their own goals.

Could ya'll explain what ya'll actually hate about it?

its weird and an extra moist mango passionfruit for no reason. I played the playstation game from capcom back in the day and was like aight this is:manny:

but, years later tried watching the show and was disgusted. :hhh:
Felt like it was the anime version of Empire. :dame:

Never knew anybody in real life that liked it that much until I came here.

Banana Fish had some :dame: characters, but the vibe was different and nikkas weren't dressing in weird Village people costumes. Dudes were getting murked every week on some gangster shyt. Flying from NY to Cali catching bodies. Mad shoot outs and rescue missions. The people in that were more perverted/twisted than anything. Jojo just comes off too weird for me.

At the end of the day, theres enough anime for everybody tho, so some shyt you gon rock with and some shyt you won't.

All this JoJo talk reminds me, need to watch part 5.

It's mainly because JoJo doesn't take itself that seriously and uses the flamboyant poses, designs as a point of comedy. So if you don't find that funny and/or are sensitive to a warped depiction of masculinity then you're probably gonna be repulsed regardless of their actual orientation.

People who like JoJo find it funny, as it's intended to be, and like how it fits into the general fukkery of the show. It's a bizarre adventure.

I would agree Pt. 4 is the best IMO, I do like PT 2 as Joseph is the best Jojostar

I just couldnt get into Pt 5 last time I tried, I will give it another shot
Part 5 was a hit for me. If you think of it like Power or The Wire it makes sense. Gigio wants to be the Don to get drugs away from kids. A clear goal, so he gets a crew together to make that a reality. Problem is everyone wants to be the Don and kill the current Don. So they have to contend with that. It's less, some new random guy stronger than the last appears out of nowhere *cough* Buu *cough* and more all these nikkas is gunning for you and you gotta knock them off before they knock you off.

fukkkery is the best word to describe the show. It's just wild and Araki wanting to subvert the Masculine standards made by FotNS is more a love letter to the series than some sort of shot at it.

I also give it credit for making its own aesthetic. JoJo is uniquely JoJo, nothing else is quite like it, and that's an achievement in a medium full of sameness.

Part 4 was perfect...its where Araki got to show off his writing. I love how the theme was slice and life with normal highschool kids.

Everyone has shows they like and dislike..that's just what it is.

Lol talking about moistness but Jojo isn't as moist as Naruto. The whole story was about an Orange wearing jumpsuit kid with whiskers stalking and harassing Sasuke from village to village. But that's another convo they not ready for.

I think rezero royally fukked up and left a key important piece out of the anime
Correct me if I’m wrong but I could of sworn when all the witches were their they went into detail about stella and what happened to her and why she is the way she is before he returned to the real world

Just checked I was right they didn’t even bring up sage part and Stella had way more dialogue

this ain’t a spoiler if anyone wants to complain it’s part of the anime and they cut a lot shyt out during the witches meeting especially explaining Stella and her dialogue and how subaru feels toward her
shyt was very vital

I think only reason they did cuz they must of felt it would overwhelm viewers nonetheless it was important

I agree with this reasoning for the most part, especially the last in bold. Show was weird just for the purpose of being weird, like a badass kid crying out for attention. Does it stand out from the rest of the kids? Yeah but for the wrong reason. There's definitely enough content out there that finding out someone doesn't fukk with 1 series shouldn't be surprising.

Threw Banana Fish in the bushes early though so we going to part ways on that one breh. :hubie:

I'm gonna miss Ahiru no Sora. :mjcry:
That finale was well done. Its like them nikkas were losers on the court, but winners in life. Overall I give it a 9. The animation held it back from being a 10 and truly the best basketball anime out.

Gibiate was average, but for some reason enjoyable. I guess seeing who was going die each episode kept me watching. They really were trying to kill everyone off.
Plus the plot twist at the end had me like :ehh:

Damn, like everything pretty much ended now for a nikka. Golden Camuy needs to get here already.
