It's basically like Castlevania Season 1. They tried to cram so much shyt in 7 episodes, that you don't really care about the characters. Some of it was very trope-ish, while at the same time feeling empty.

GOH prolly has the best action scenes I've seen in a non anime movie. Like every episode was on or near the level of Mob Psycho's 2nd season towards the end. Its not a better anime tho, but the action gets super high marks from me.

Nothing beats the action from the 2nd MHA movie tho.

DBZ got wayyyyy too much filler and it was a chore to watch back in the day. Literally would only watch it for the fights and nothing else. Always felt like it was overrated. It was a gateway anime for a lot of people so I get it, but it wasn't for me so I never held it in awe like that.

Definitely enjoyed watching Black Clover and GOH more as a grown man, then watching DBZ as a young teenager going to middle school and shyt.
