Man I tell you.... of all the anime shows that are out there.

Fire Force is by far the COOLEST in terms of how they present theirs and execute this shyt on the weekly. From the sound effects to the quick cuts to the style of a lot of the shots. This shyt is a damn masterpiece. This last ep about 15 minutes in when they showed the sillouette of the 8 Adollo linked cats.... that shyt was beautiful:wow:

:scust:

u watch misfit demon king academy
It’s my best new series

Yeah I watch an enjoy that too, but its not seeing GOH. Its really a one man show, kinda like Golgo 13, but with magic. You just tune in to see what kinda unbelievable shyt this nikka gon pull off this week.

GOH has way more interesting characters and the action scenes are just on another level from everything else to me. Its like watching finale level action on a weekly basis

Facts

that shyt gave me Battle Arena Toshinden vibes during the tournament parts.

It's a frustratingly annoying show. The main character is a simp to an escort. Even as he gains viable options besides that escort that fact remains. The plot doesn't really advance beyond that.

yup watched all the episodes until now and MC is a certified retard. The story just doesn't progress after the first few episodes.

All the problems the mc and his hoe have are created by themselves and their illogical actions, to the point where it becomes a chore to keep watching.

the mc from Ore wo Suki nano wa Omae dake ka yo would have worked perfectly in the anime.

EDIT: also something to keeps bothering me MC keep being surprised that his hoe does hoe things.

I'm still pissed from a manga that I was reading, the MC is stronger then the gods themselves but even after 50 chapters the MC still doesn't know his strength and is scared to fight. Mangas like this are such time wasters, tried reading the web novel but seeing that after 70 chapters of the 300 MC is still a fakkit I couldn't even be bothered.

:yeshrug: Love Hina/Tenchi Muyo were the Harem framework and most modern shows ain't going with what works storywise and what works 12 episodes or a good amount chapters. Modern stuff is stuck on and are fine with making interesting characters, but hasn't really mastered how to make them realistically interact and grow without having illogical situations. You don't need conflict to talk about a girl's backstory, you just talk about it. So they end up halfway thru having to figure out to pad out of the story with basically nonmeaningful content or having to fix the bad to reach the most obvious conclusion. shyt happened with Nisekoi and the same shyt with Domestic No Kanojo manga.

I got further in Durarara and this show is getting spooky brehs:merchant:
The slasher/Psycha is like the Resident Evil T virus: Yandere edition! :damn:. The streets aint safe no more
One thing I have to wonder is why Anri never seems to ever consider her safety. She knows the slasher is going after her in particular, almost got stabbed twice, and saw the slasher attack someone right in front of her prior. A stranger knocks on her door that and she lets them in without vetting them to make sure they don't have a knife? :dahell: Even the brolic characters in this series take far more precaution than she does.

what can I say, brehs. It's lived up to the massive hype so far :whew: (yes, yes, "Chimera Ant arc" :francis:)

Kurapika. A.K.A. "The Illest nikka in Nebraska". Look how far this cat has come. Look how far he's willing to go for revenge.

The Phantom Troupe: A team of villains done right. They don't seem like a team of bad guys just hanging out for mutual gain. They seem like a family. Their reaction at Uvogin simply being late. Chrollo's reaction at their collective fears being confirmed. Chrollo basically throwing his fallen comrade a second line to see him off, by causing as much chaos as possible. Honestly, the whole run of scenes with Chrollo and Neon's "date" was BEAUTIFULLY done.

Hisoka: I think he getting played.

Gon and Killuya: Arm Wrasslin. :comeon: I'm glad they got that over with. I like how they showed the gap between where Kurapika and them are. They KNEW they were outclassed dealing with the Troupe. Kurapika.... not so much.

The art and music have been fukking great. The sight of Yorknew City at night is damn near as good as CLAMP at their best. That moody, atmospheric music. That hazy filter giving everything a noir feel :takedat:

This is just a blanket post covering how much I've enjoyed the individual eps. Although I kinda feel like the whole series may have been spoiled in this thread, and the fact that I may be the only person here who hasn't watched this, I kinda feel like I'm watching a VERY good movie and I'm only 1/2 way done.

edit: oh. Killua's Dad and Granddad showed up :whew:
