As for Black Clover, it's primarily Captain Yami with Asta a close 2nd but the rest of the cast is kinda meh outside a plot device like Julius and the Devils.

I just enjoy the ride and let it be, cliff hangers be damned.

As long as the anime ending is somewhat conclusive (Kenichi and BTOOM) then I'm good.
