Finally watched God of High School. Looks like it's the latest in the recent line of "action for the sake of action" anime that have great animation and look pretty but not much substance to the story like Baki, but less shock factor.
I'm sure it'll be good but I never cared that much about these style of shows that are there to just be eye candy. I'll keep watching to see if it hooks me but I'm a little skeptical.

Watching Kingdom and enjoying it. The animation looks goofy at times but the story makes up for the visual shortcomings.
This story reminds me of Arslan (which i enjoyed as well), but i think the character development in Kingdom is way better.

I may have to go back to the sad journey of rewatching Zero to refresh how we got to where we are ep 1.
like it’s one thing in animes when they comeback from hiatus and there is a little bit of a time skip to kind of get get you back into it. Whether it’s a few weeks or years.
But on shows where it’s like immediately the next moment from the last which occurred a few years back. That’s problematic
