God of hs first episode was dope.
To change the topic, I finished episode 20 of Trigun The backstory is pretty cool and I was right about him being some otherworldly being. The enemies remind me of the Akatsuki meets Megaman X for some reason. One thing I do not understand about this show is why they took so long to break things down. I get the themes of the earlier episodes, but they left the show in an awkward position; especially since Vash in theory should have been trying to get it popping from the beginning. I have 4 episodes left and it feels like its only getting started wtf?
Imagine if they spent the first 67 episodes of Monster as a hospital drama centered around Tenma. Then they introduce Johan in episode 68 and it still ends on episode 74 while trying to cover everything
yeah, it kinda makes me wanna take Trigun off my list.
I loved the shyt out of the show when it first came out (Trigun and Gundam Wing were the first anime I actively bought in real time... the VHS tapes prolly outside in storage).
In hindsight, that slow burn is a bit too much. You're literally sitting there waiting on Vash to lose his temper and break, all the while they show him being VASTLY superior to whatever he comes across, outside of Legato and Knives.
Wolfwood and Millie had a better story.
Vash still the GOAT gunslinger in anime history, though.
Props to ol girl from Grenadier (Who a LOTTA shows and movies, even Trigun pay homage to)

Chainsaw man doesn't have anything announced and it hast even breached 100 chapters yet. So I don't see it getting a green light for another year or so

My nikka I came in here to say the same thing. fukking movie blew me away.
The final battle was amazing. I beat the hero story on the 2nd game yesterday so I was already on some MHA vibes, but the movie took it to plus ultra.
