Forgot how good the Jin/Shino episode was. comments on marriage laws that shifted power to one side. husband owns all, divorce illegal. marriage still encouraged to escape poverty only for spouses to be abused and sold into prostitution. fantastical for some samurai to save the day like Jin does. but, champloo has been about mixing old traditions with new and progressive ideas at the sacrifice of realism.
and I like that champloo has these contained mini-adventures that'll focus on one character at a time. When the crew finds a new town they look to do stuff independent of each other. meet up at the end. everyone has a chance to shine and develop in their own way.

I watched like 5 new summer anime, the best 1 was definitely The Misfit of Demon King Academy

seras imaginary fat white floaty friend is Vladimir Harkonnen from Dune. It's also the name of her gun. the scenes with him are pointless.
The art, later eps were so dark that I couldn't even see what was going on.

first episode of the misfits of demon king academy looked good. been reading the web novel since it got translated. I hope they do it justice

and I didn't listen to the ED, but that shyt looked gorgeous. You'd swear they spent the budget from the show just animating that ED

So yesterday and today I started finishing off Naruto (skipping the fillers). Man that ep when he says his goodbyes to his dad..... I swear someone cut an onion

I get u noreadgang but I do think u should make exceptions for certain series
baruto manga is flames and anime is gonna be far behind cuz they wanna have a gap so they don’t be on the one piece pace which is 1/2 chapter a ep
From what I seen baruto fillers are good
fillers in anime are fine if they took the time with them

Well shyt I’m still good taking my time. I’m not sure how many eps Boruto is in but I know I’m like ep 472 of 500 of Naruto so I’m good rocking with that and may pace myself so I won’t just run through it all
