Finished Dr. Stone:wow:

That was a great watch. I highly enjoyed every episode. It's unlike any other anime so the story feels fresh and is full of surprises. Senku is already high on my list for GOAT main characters.

I'm on episode 17 now. I'm really diggin this show.

Wasn’t feeling it.
About to start fire force

never mind gonna continue with 7 deadly

:russ:

I tried a couple of episodes of Fire Force but the English dub is :picard: and that's the only version on Hulu :beli: I'm gonna try again by downloading subs but first impression is I'm not feeling the characters and their designs at all.

Animation on point though.

Just watch it on CrunchyRoll/VrV for free. You just got to deal with commercials, but you're already watching on Hulu so no difference really.

I felt the same way about the show. Wasn't really feeling the characters or plot at first, but just stick with it. It gets much better.

I’m just past the “hk” Stain part of MHA and the fights on the show are amazing. When the villains are making their moves the show is 10/10 and when they’re not it’s 7/10. Just the growth Deku has shown makes the show better. He’s not crying nearly as much as he did at the start. He could turn out to be a solid protagonist.

Just finished Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle: Tokyo Revelation from CLAMP.

shyt was great if you're a fan of the CLAMP-verse. I mean greeeeaaaat. It covers the Acid Tokyo arc from the manga, which didn't get animated before the anime series ended.

Unfortunately you gotta have read/watched Tsubasa up to that point, plus know some Cardcaptor Sakura stuff and also be familiar with X/1999 to even know what's going on.

That's the rub with Tsubasa. It's sort of like Stephen King's Dark Tower series, in that it ties almost all of CLAMP's work together. Where it fails at, unlike Dark Tower, is that you really HAVE to have read the other stories to even have an inkling of whats going on. It's not accessible to newcomers at all.

I remember this cause the main character was turned into a crazed clone who ruthlessly chased feathers and it switched to the real version in the middle of the series and two of the characters were arguably gay for each other but I don't think it was outright stated. One of them was a vampire and somebody was a swordsman.

Fate/Extra Last Encore was
full
. The whole time I felt like I was missing something. Given the opening, I feel like I got cheated out of a really good Saber story.
