Yeah I forgot how much of a good villain dude was. Pt 4 has been airing on Adult Swim so I’ve been watching this the same time as Pt 5. That Another one bites the dust stand

Nah man. I appreciate the weekly episodes over a series being released at once.

JoJo Part 5 officially aired in October and it's still airing in June.

And over these past 8 months you get

-the characters resonate with you on another level.
-whenever you listen to jodeci you will forever think about part 5
- weekly discussions
- you get to sit around and digest everything within an episode and it leaves you wondering what could possibly happen next
-it becomes one of those small things in life that make you look forward to shyt like: "today is friday, that means new jojo"
-every week there is a new jojo meme


I'm be sad once that last episode of Jojo hits. Not gonna lie, might shed a few tears ... Like sure part 6 will most likely be animated but it's like damn I been with the part 5 cast for so long now I'm a be like Will Smith in the fresh prince of bel-air when hes just standing there in the empty house.

It's how I felt for part 3 and 4.

Lol was watching like 5 or more shows from last season but just Attack on Titan from this one. What am I missing?

Outside of AOT, I've been watching One Punch Man and Demon Slayer.

Have you seen Kids on a Slope and Sangatsu no Lion? I'm pretty sure you'd like both given what we've agreed on in the past. Both are among my favorites, the latter I would consider the best anime to come out in recent years.

Kare Kano/His or Her Circumstances is the best romance ever made that no one really talks about. Hideaki Anno of NGE directed it and you can tell the difference from everything else of the genre. Nodame Cantabile is better known, just as good. Main characters are college aged, not indecisive kids. Both have actual skill in their craft and they push one another to reach their potential. Great chemistry, progresses quickly, pretty much everything you want. School Rumble is the best parody of the genre and has a huge cast of memorable characters. Very funny, Harima Kenji is one of the GOAT male leads of the genre.

I think Carole & Tuesday is the best anime of the season. Absolutely nails the theme of music bringing people from unique backgrounds together and giving them a voice to express themselves in ways that they aren't allowed to otherwise. Somewhat inspired by Nana, but with much less adult drama and much more racial diversity putting black people in some positions of power in the music industry and a visual part of the universe. Watanabe (Bebop, Champloo, Space Dandy, Terror in Resonance etc) is directing it and anything he produces is guaranteed to be well put together. Has a lot of really great scenes that anyone should be able to appreciate, even if they don't necessarily care to watch the show because of it's genre.

and I always recommend Barakamon to anyone who asks for suggestions. Hard to not like it. Funny, relatable, will make you feel for the characters in their struggles to find a sense of belonging/family.

Imma miss gunslinger mista shooting himself every other episode. part 5 cast is iconic! and the side villains were entertaining to watch.

and the villain Doppio/diovolo is fukked up. He's still mysterious even though theres 8 eps left.

Nana is in my top ten. I hope Yazawa feels well enough to continue someday, though she's already done enough to inspire clones of her work every season.

Oniisama e made me realize how fukked up sororities are. Best part was when Mariko stabbed that bully with a box cutter for talking shyt about her dad. Whenever she was in focus I was fully invested in whatever was happening because you had NO idea what she would do. I also remember taking a bunch of screenshots of the detailed clothing styles and the freeze frames that would turn the aesthetic into a painting. Good looking show.

Rose of Versaille is buried on my PTW list. One of those anime that I'm pretty sure I'll like but there's about five hundred other anime that I feel that way about too. Haven't seen Mars yet but I've been hearing about it forever.

I'm expecting at least a year before the new season is confirmed.
I haven't read anything past part 4 but I do know Araki writes like a chapter per month. I figure once all the finished jojo parts are animated the current one should be done by then.

Attack on Titan latest episode

The tension in this episode. Biggest conflict ever . I'm glad I don't read ahead in the manga because this episode wouldn't have hit the same if I knew what was going to happen. AOT did a good job of reviving a character back from the dead unlike how most series do it. Usually when a characters comes back it devalues the moments in the arcs in a series, and if it keeps reoccurring throughout the series it devalues death in the series (DBZ, Naruto). But for the simple fact that only one character could be saved while another would have to be let go (Armin, Erwin) had me like damn damn damn.


Imagine being Bertholdt and waking up to a titan Armin about to eat you

When you think about it, overall Eren and the gang took a giant ass L. Their mission was to find out more about the titans or eliminate those 3 right? not finding out about more information and only eliminating one guy and losing 90 percent of your friends screams L.

And at the ape titan. nikkas was just trying to be psychological and "deep" last episode showing no emotion while throwing rocks at all those people on the horses. But as soon as Levi fukked him up he went all bytch and ran away talking about this round is a draw because neither of them have energy left when it was clear Levi was ready for the smoke.

So far, Levi's character development is the best in the series.

Carole & Tuesday has been anime American Idol for three weeks. All of the songs are produced by established artists with good talent except the ones intentionally stupid for comedy. Solid diversity. All except two are in english, easily accessible

Set up in a way that you know nothing about the performer going in. Might be trash might be good, can't really tell by how they look at all. doesn't even feel like an anime where you get used to homogenized faces and voices



might turn into Nana....thought maybe it would be innocent but nah, there's some potential for fukkery.
