The tension in this episode.
Biggest conflict ever
. I'm glad I don't read ahead in the manga because this episode wouldn't have hit the same if I knew what was going to happen.
AOT did a good job of reviving a character back from the dead unlike how most series do it. Usually when a characters comes back it devalues the moments in the arcs in a series, and if it keeps reoccurring throughout the series it devalues death in the series (DBZ, Naruto). But for the simple fact that only one character could be saved while another would have to be let go (Armin, Erwin) had me like
damn
damn
damn.
Imagine being Bertholdt and waking up to a titan Armin about to eat you
When you think about it, overall Eren and the gang took a giant ass L. Their mission was to find out more about the titans or eliminate those 3 right? not finding out about more information and only eliminating one guy and losing 90 percent of your friends screams L.
And
at the ape titan. nikkas was just trying to be psychological and "deep" last episode showing no emotion while throwing rocks at all those people on the horses. But as soon as Levi fukked him up he went all bytch and ran away
talking about this round is a draw because neither of them have energy left when it was clear Levi was ready for the smoke.
So far, Levi's character development is the best in the series.
great episode.
