Yea, Shield Hero is one of my favorite shows this year but the whole aging her up real quick just so they could run with the romance trope but constantly reminding us with flashbacks that she was basically a 10 yr old the majority of her time with buddy... ehhh. shyt is a bit awkward

you can not mind it - acknowledge it adds nothing to the story - and that it ruins it for more people overall, too though

shyt unnecessary as hell and the crowd now essentially tolerates it (or enjoys it like the nasty fukks they are)

Boruto would be pulling all these battle shounen's cards if it weren't for the anime's REFUSAL to adopt the damn manga
Over 100 episodes in, 14 are from the boruto manga and 6 from naruto gaiden manga

thats 20 episodes total but the anime is at episode 105
1 canon episode every 10 year average

Boruto is a show that I think can get away with having a ton of filler IMO, the show doesn't feel nearly as fleshed out as the OG Naruto.

Boruto learned the Rasengan in like 1 or 2 episodes, and a lot of the training, characterization and buildup that the original had really isn't in Boruto, so even though it's long, it feels like it's still being rushed due to comparison with the OG.

Breh that shyt scarred me, I stopped after that pilot. If y’all nikkas like that demonic shot coo, but don’t advertise it like it’s some regular anime

I watched it after a recommendation from a few folks and the introduction episode had a nikka shook

I kept watching it and it ended up being a great show, but the shock factor from the first episode really is offputting. The first episode is more savage than every other episode in it.

I think you are over analyzing at the end of the day it's a fantasy, in most mediums it's been established that non-humans usually age differently mostly ageing and maturing faster.

Nah I'm not overanalyzing it, I actually don't give it much thought other than thinking that ish awkward and lowkey unnecessary lol.

I know elves n dwarves age slow in fantasy worlds, etc, but I ain't ever venture into the 10 year olds magically age into 19 yr olds to lust after their caretaker fantasy stuff.

So I just tune that part out
