Ali Al-Saachez, hell even Nena Trinity is realer.

Mika just does what Orga tells him to and has no thoughts of his own. Every one keeps saying "Mika's gully" but Setsuna killed his own parents when he was like 6 and Allelujah Haptism killed hundreds of his "brothers and sisters" to destroy a research facility where they experimented on kids. All while having a conscience and having to deal with their guilt. Now I only seen season 1 of IBO but it was trash so I won't be watching season 2.

It feels like no one in here watched 00. Most characters on that show were more gully than Mikazuki. Even females.

Mika would strangle a baby to death and think nothing of it. He's a straight up goon. He has no morals or ethics. When the homie got murked he pretty much didn't give a shyt. He is the gulliest mobile suit pilot of all time and there isn't a person alive he wouldn't kill. He was damn near gonna kill his own best friend if he didn't pull out of that funk he was in.

is Mikazuki going around killing civilians out of boredom like Nena? Is he forcing kids to become child soldiers and kill their parents like Ali Al-Saachez? What is he doing that's so gully besides not giving a fukk? Who is he killing that he doesn't have a good reason to because from what I saw (season 1) he only seems to kill people who have wronged him or Tekkadon. He wouldn't think twice about strangling a baby because he has no emotions. That's bad storytelling, not Mika being a goon.

I think you confused. A goon isn't some deranged pyscopath killing out of boredome, he is one that does whatever is required to carry a mission with no fukk given. So if strangling a baby would advance tekkadan cause he would do it bc it needs to be done not because he derives some sick sense of pleasure out of it. Psycopathic killing just for fukks sakes is actually bad writing

Nena killed Louise's entire family to set up Louise vs Nena the most interesting story in 00. It changes Louise completely and leads to many great moments in the show.

Louise is another mobile suit pilot that is just as gully as Mikazuki is. She did everything it took to fufill her mission of getting revenge on Nena even if took changing who she is completely to do it.

Mika is like the Jack Bauer of Gundam pilots. Jack was willing to do what it took to accomplish his set task. Jack often got his hands dirty and never really gave it a second thought.

I agree with everything in this post, but if there's a line he can't cross, but Ali Al-Saachez crossed that line then by definition Mika isn't the "gulliest" mobile suit pilot. I wouldn't even agree if you said he was the most gully out of the protagonists or even the main protagonists but I could at least see where your coming from there.

How does revenge not count as mission and purpose?

If you haven't seen 00 there's no point talking about this. If you have seen it you would know characters like Al-Saachez, Allelujah Haptism, and Louise Halevy are just as much driven by their mission as Mikazuki is. Mikazuki acts on revenge when he kills Carta. No different from Louise acting on revenge when she kills Nena.

If you have seen it you would know characters like Al-Saachez, Allelujah Haptism, and Louise Halevy are just as much driven by their mission as Mikazuki is. Mikazuki acts on revenge when he kills Carta. No different from Louise acting on revenge when she kills Nena.

Difference is revenge doesn't define Mika like it does those characters. Mika got his and moved on.
