Most overpushed, most forced, most manufactured, given the most chances to get over organically and still needs a rub from Jumanji Johnson in his 12th year on the main roster. After already winning the Rumble, headlining multiple Wrestlemania's, beating the Undertaker at WM, beating John Cena, beating Brock Lesnar at WM and SummerSlam.
If roles were reversed, the outcry for poor Joey would be like a far in church.
Majority of fans don't love Joey like that,

When Undertaker had the WHC and was fighting Batista it was bigger. There were plenty of times when they flip flopped. I'm not here to say what is better just stating facts of the situation. Lots of times when the WWE title match was not the main event, during the WHC and Universal title existence.

Is Cody's rise really organic? Seems to be he was a lifetime mid carder in WWE, went to AEW and stunk it up now he's back and wants to finish "his story". His story is winning the tag titles with his older more talented brother.
As bad as Roman is, he's improved in every aspect of wrestling over the past few years.

That was years later but the WWE belt is definitely higher than any belt they ever pushed. That streak storyline was pushed ahead of the title in the Batista match...they've ran to that streak stuff ever since the Rock and Austin were done. A year later with the Blandy match at WM 21..that's when all that $hit started. No one cared about him bring undefeated at Mania before then..they didn't have to..the Rock and Austin were main eventing everything.
