Westbrook (nearly) averaging a triple double this season: Will he fukk around and get another one?

This is what kills the NBA season too many damn fans being sports analytics because they jumped on the Coli, RealGM, etc acting like since they read the boxscore they know the game. What Westbrook is doing is amazing especially with OKC talent level, who is the 3rd best scorer after Westbrook and Oladipo(who's inconsistent as hell)? Adams, Roberson, Kanter?

Westbrook definitely has flaws, no doubt about that, anybody that's watched there games can tell you he is tiring himself out, by 60 games in the season he will be running on fumes. But to have OKC in the position there in is amazing.....

Was Westbrook not a great rebounder last year? Or three years ago?

Westbrook is a great rebounder for a point guard. That should translate to 5-7 rebounds a game, as it has his entire career. The only reason that it translates to 10 rebounds suddenly this year is because his stats are inflated. He didn't suddenly become a greater rebounder this year in his 9th year in the league - hell, he's not as good a rebounder as he was two years ago, to be honest.

If Magic Johnson or Jason Kidd or Lebron James, who were all great rebounders too, had done the ridiculous things to get cheap rebounds that Westbrook is doing this year, they would have destroyed those triple-double totals a long time ago.
