His injury problems aren't on the organization.

Where they have mishandled him though is that they've picked youth over bringing in a veteran big man that actually teach him to play instead of being foul prone all the time. Can't improve on your game if you're always injured or in foul trouble.
He's been healthy since at least March, maybe even late February. Then they throw him out there and expect him to get into a rhythm, especially defensively. And he's looked lost because of that.

The FO has not emphasized winning these past two years. They bought more rookies. They've talked about development. They hire a developmental coach. All that just to sit Jaren until he's "110 percent" is terrible management

man, melton has been hot trash for awhile now. he has regressed back to his mean and looks as bad as he did in the bubble. he's getting exposed badly having to step in in allen's absence and having to play against tougher opponents instead of just other bench players. people hate him, but allen is pretty damn good for this team's starting rotation/balance.

@Keengcong @bxrfan

Who we drafting? Or who we trading for this offseason?

This team needs wing help in the worst way

I've heard our name linked to Moses Moody in the draft a couple times.

Taylor Jenkins does not know how to use Jaren at all. He started off hot then you pull him, why? Some very questionable decisions this game

Bane should've been getting the minutes Melton was getting at the end, breh seems automatic from three

We ain’t ready...

As far as the draft goes...
@14 Zaire Williams
@52 Isiah Todd

Wouldn’t mind packaging JJJ to get up in the top 5 or so. He has incredibly low BBIQ. All the physical tools in the world tho.

He played 11 games. Kid had no offseason.We gotta exhibit some patience.

Picked Steph's pockets clean in an iso situation. That kinda talent you mold. Problem is, this coaching staff has zero clue on how to utilize him skillset.

Can't utilize his skillset if he can't stay on the court due to injury or foul trouble.

The same issues that were there with him in year 1 are still there in year 3.

Big men generally tend to foul a lot anyway, so that shouldn't warrant constant benchings. Especially when most of his fouls come from playing with the reserves, which is a Jenkins problem once again.

Dillon led the league in fouls and Fouls per game two straight seasons and never gets benched(A whole other discussion that I would get into later)

Not to the extent that JJJ is fouling though. It was an issue in college that's carried over to the NBA. We're talking about PF numbers even worse than a big man like Shaq's. Since they insist on not bringing in a big man to help him learn, he needs to reps on the court to learn, but he can't if he's injured or in foul trouble. That's why I mention that this youth binge they're operating on just isn't working as you have those dudes out there learning by trial and error.

Dillion Brooks is ass by the way and shouldn't be starting under any circumstances. There just isn't any wings out there in the open trade market to replace him with. Everyone is looking for the same thing as Memphis in that department. You either have to overpay for what little is out there or take your chances and hope that you can develop one through the draft.
