Dougie P talks about Jalen Hurts and Wentz

Pederson said he believes Hurts can be “the guy” for the Eagles.

Doug Pederson addresses his relationship with Carson Wentz

about Hurts

“he’s got such a great leadership style,” Pederson said. “Guys really gravitate to him. His work ethic is second to none. I think the coaching staff can, if they’re patient with him, can really teach and dial things in for him and really tailor the offense around his skill set.

“He’s going to have success. He’s a proven winner. He’s been a proven winner obviously in college at a couple of places he’s been. I know he can do that in the National Football League. He’s young but yet he’s eager. He’s going to outwork everybody on the football team. That’s just who he is.”

he'll only win if he has a nice team built around him and a system tailor made to cover his deficiencies

Prime Hurts with last season's supporting cast misses the playoffs every yr

Coaching was a big problem. We didn't prioritize developing talent through the draft. If guys didn't pan out, we always looked to sign vets in FA. We need 3-4 starters from every draft. This yr, we need to find 5.
Exactly! This is why we always see players leave Philly & go ball somewhere else. Poor talent developers.

Every QB in the NFL misses the playoffs with that roster.

We didn't miss the playoffs in 2019 despite the myriad of injuries

Impossible to make playoffs 2 yrs in a row with the instability, lack of talent and inexperience we were faced with

#byrdgang...Bleedin Green
Put me on some names :ohhh:

Adedayo Odeleye- 6'5, 265- Love to see what his pro day looks like
Yoann Miangue- African by way of France also 6'5. 265- he was a competitive taekwondo athlete so he should understand hand fighting as it relates to attacking a tackle....he has long arms to

They are both projects but depending on how they look at their pro day- maybe worth a 7th rounder
