#byrdgang...Bleedin Green
and none are true #1’s

we have no stud wide receivers

the best most consistent we have is Ward

We need a #1 then put ward at #2 and Raegor in the slot

We can rotate in hightower and reserve quez and cut jj

Ward cant play on the outside- he is only effective in the slot. The Eagles need an impactful X receiver whether they draft one or Fulgrum actually develops into one. Ward is a nice WR but he is limited

Howie Roseman’s staying power is built on Jeffrey Lurie’s trust, but he has his fair share of critics

It's a long ass story, but this was the craziest part. Howie lucky lane didn't homer simpson choke him

The following week, Johnson was with teammates in the NovaCare cafeteria when Roseman walked up and said, according to sources, “I’ve never seen you get beat by a rookie before.” The pair were known to bust each other’s chops, but Johnson, who was also dealing with personal issues at the time, didn’t take kindly to the jab. He left the facility.

A month later, the Eagles were in London to face the Jaguars. Johnson had suffered a high ankle sprain three games earlier but continued to forge on. But as the players geared up that Sunday in the Wembley Stadium locker room, Johnson voiced concerns about playing.

Roseman caught wind and berated him, sources present said. Nearby teammates and coaches couldn’t understand why he would provoke him, considering Johnson’s current state. The tackle finished suiting up and as he walked by Roseman, the GM said, according to sources, “Good, you have your mouthpiece in, now you can’t say anything stupid.”

The last comment, which a source close to Roseman said was intended to be playful, set Johnson off. “I can’t play for this [expletive],” he said, according to a source. He took off his equipment and went to the showers and missed pregame warmups. Left tackle Jason Peters went to Pederson’s office for help defusing the situation.

Defensive end Chris Long, right guard Brandon Brooks, and others talked Johnson into playing. He lasted seven plays. Johnson further aggravated his ankle injury and sprained a knee ligament

Damn, this is only my 3rd post in this thread. But I'm just here to celebrate the fact that we are keeping B. Brooks. I'm still hoping he can stay on that HOF trajectory.

I believe, even as currently constructed, this can be a top 12 OL when everyone is healthy. I hope they prove me right. :sadcam:

I've learned my lesson about making definitive statements over shyt I can't control. This team has had me look so foolish for decades, having to eat so much crow. :mjlol:

But I do feel good about the prospects of our OL and I hope "much better" is an understatement. They definitely have the talent and coaching to be top tier.

Apparently, Trey Lance was HIGHLY IMPRESSIVE in his workout today

Now, I expect us to trade back so a QB hungry team can take him

Another good breakdown on the WR, quick summery

Raegor: made rookie mistakes but is not a bust

Jjaw: he's improving but is not a an outside WR, ceiling is a slot

Hightower:best route runner on the team, he needs not to fear the safety coming over cause that's where his drops come from

Fulgham: everything JJAW was supposed to be, org messed up by starting Jeffery over him and didn't respond well to it

Quez; was a project in training camp, made leaps and bounds. Slay took him under his wing

Reaching on all of these breh. Our receiving core is trash.

For some reason, I see us trading back to Carolina, getting a 2022 2nd rounder for our trouble and a late round pick

I see us taking Farley if we trade back bc so much draft capital has been invested in the offense the last 3 yrs
