I think they'll get this figured out. It's clear they not been really fukkin wit each other for awhile. Not that they have beef. Moreso that they've just grown apart and are doing they're own thing. Which is natural. But that distance and lack of communication resulted in this misunderstanding. Sounds like the trademark was expired or expiring and they wanted to make sure nobody else scooped the name. Then they coulda really been fukked. I've heard artists talk about Pharrell making a beat right in front of them and doing the song by himself

And from album credits, he's not crediting the "Neptunes" name. So what is Chad filing for?

Is it a case where he's saying that anything Pharrell does he has a right to?

complexity matters in terms of production on some level. I get what your saying,but we just have to be clear on that point. The person who produced the song using real instruments and a band,who composed the beat. Is better and more talented than the person who just sampled the beat and sped it up. But again,i know what you mean in this context.

The top list are people who I think are underated producers. Now which of these two categories are Neptunes most associated and mentioned with?


Now how many of those underated producers are the Neptunes better than? Mind you,im not saying Neptunes arent possibly better than some of those people I listed. But when you consider the respect gap,and how Neptunes are talked about as producers as oppossed to those I listed? They are the most overated of all the great hiphop producers.
