Yes Cabin in the Woods was the funnest time I've had in a theatre in YEARS...the movie engaged the audience and we gave it a standing ovation when it ended. When dude tried to jump and hit the wall :dead:

When the monsters were unleashed :damn::damn::damn:

That ending :whew:

the most horrifying thing about jacob's ladder was those dirty, disgusting sets.. :scust:

A lot of great flicks on this list. Suspiria is a fukking classic.

What I love about Friday the 13th (also a classic, of course) is that is mashes genres. It's just as much a whodunit as a horror/slasher flick.

Agreed. People shyt on the first Friday the 13th because of no Jason, but it owes its mystery to Bava's Bay of Blood and its really an effective movie if you don't know the twist going in
