Not trying to be a prisoner of the moment but Portland is a top 5 run franchise of the decade in the NBA (Spurs, GSW, Portland, Celtics, Thunder).

They're what OKC is with ownership that isn't greedy and they've backed the right horses (Dame, CJ, Nurk).

Crazy to think that their biggest draft picks of the decade were flops due to injury. Any other franchise doesn't come back from that as quickly as they did.

Congrats to CJ taking the next big step but @ dame turning into Capela and being worthless last two games

difference is Dame wasn't all the way useless. When dame shot isnt goin through he compensates in other ways. dame probably had a double double regarding assist and rebounds.

Plus he's too much of a threat in general. Like I just mentioned above, everyone on the court is watching his movement and adjusting to not giving him enough space to breathe.

Craig, beasley and harris defended dame well, but they struggled with CJ.

shyt is tried and true. The greatest playoff performers have always been able to get to the rack and kill from the midrange. 3 Ball just doesnt fall like that. Even the greatest shooters like Curry and Klay lay some stinkers when they over rely on 3's
