I think class is a thing but more on how you carry your self. Plenty of rich classless embarrassments out here as well.
Yup, look at:
Ishowspeed
Blueface and Crisean
Entirety of the love and hip hop cast
Rappers like Lil Boosie, Soulja Boy :dead:

All have money but damn sure have no class lol

I hate some of these comments in here. Man I make good $$$, and I live in the burbs of San Diego. But I'm a country West Texas dude at heart and make no apologies for it. I still gravitate to more "down home ppl" and so-called "hood ppl". I got some bougie azz ways, but I don't ever wanna be around them "Jack and Jill" type blacks for too long. Gimme a brew and let's talk about the game and this bbq.
:scust::hhh: West Texas yuck. East Texas all day

How did you grow up poor if you are apart of one of the 4 royal bloodlines or whatever?
Because I didn’t go to Nigeria until I was 28 years old. it didn’t mean shyt to me. I don’t even speak the language. I grew up on Franklin Avenue 80s Brooklyn in a one bedroom apartment with three younger sisters and my mom raising all of us. To this day I still sleep on my side because I grew up sleeping on the couch. I encountered all that shyt when I first went there att 28 and there’s no money in it so it is what it is.

my blood is my blood

I'm a nikka and I don't fck with the regular blacks, and affluent blacks.
They want to be white or are white adjacent.

They are the ones who love being up under craccaz but then try to play the race card if things don't go their way.
But they secretly hate real blacks, the nikkaz.
Them nikkaz use to bully them in school or get all the bytches.

It's always been a secret war between us and them

So your dad is the royal family member but you don’t know him? I’m confused I still don’t understand how you could be poor no matter where you live if you a royal family member

What makes being a part of a royal family is rich? My father drove a cab and an ice cream truck in a few times he was responsible for his family. Royalty does not mean rich. My cousins are the Aderemis….the former ooni. He had over 40 kids%. What do you think was left behind to carry all of them?you think I’m lying.

what the fukk are you not getting?

I agree. The one thing I’ve enjoyed about America compared to Africa is that there isn’t a stark class divisions in America as it is in Africa. Im a Yoruba prince….. but I grew up hood my entire life in Brooklyn. When I get Nigeria, Family suddenly tell me I can’t talk to certain people because they are lower class. The way the poor are treated in Africa… They don’t exist. The wealth divide between a rich African bourgeoisie and the poor is so stark that you can’t imagine.

I can’t find the video, but there was a African politician who is driving Danny Glover around his own country and Danny asked him how come so many impoverished kids they were driving past werent in school. Politician brushed those kids off saying they were low class. Danny made him stop the car and forced him to see the humanity in those kids and that politician honestly said it was the first time saw them as human beings. The state of Africa has a lot to do with class divisions, and how the rich do not give two shyts about the poor on levels you don’t see here amongst blacks in the US.

I see this as someone who lives on both sides of the pond. It’s not even close.

Kwame Toure made the same observation after living in Africa for a decade
yeah, especially a country like nigeria where the average people would sell their own grandmother down the river for some few hundred thousand naira and some temu gucci chancletas. if the average poor do that for money, i can't imagine the smugness from the rich anf what they did to get their. i agree, even white south african would hand with black south africans more than rich nigerians would hand with poor nigerian

hate to be nigerian :whew:

Hey everybody. This is why I say African unity is a lie. Look at this post coming from a country where black Africans have not seen the wealth divide between whites and blacks move since the end of apartheid

How are we not royal? When I was a candidate to become the next king but chose not to? Royalty does not mean rich. That is the silliness of Americans where one equates money with bloodline.

my great uncle was the first African with a Rolls-Royce. He had 80 kids. He has now over 300 grandkids. Do you think the money stretches out like that?

you’re just a dusty dude who doesn’t understand the dynamics in Africa, and are talking from the outside looking in. Any of those dudes try to come inyorubaland speaking on stuff would get their card pulled based on bloodline. That doesn’t tie itself to money.

The secret war is in your head. If they got teased or got their bytch took and got away that sounds like retreating.

If they come back around and still get teased or mistreated and stop coming around that sounds like defense.

And let’s get something straight, dusty niqqa….. This is my direct descendent and bloodline, Lafogido.

I am proud to be one of the handful members of the black race to say that I can trace my family line back 1000 years. I can trace members of my line who were taken away on slave ships. And that makes me richer than any Peckerwood or most people on this planet. I’m glad I can stick that in the faces of these bigots when given the chance. Gives my kids the opportunity to say “yeah. That’s us.” And that makes me richer than any dollar number. Yet here is a fellow black man tearing that shyt down.

fukk outta here.

You don’t know what wealth is
