I'm too lazy to post a bunch of links atm. But here's a reputable documentary with members of Bushs' administration who adhere to the absurdity which took place under his tenure.

the fukk is this besides blatant attacks on the constitution? obama continues the same bullshyt policies of bush and worse. I know i'm about to sound like some ron paul stan, but seriously what is this?
monitor emails, credit cards, every phone call/text, every site you ever went to.
kill americans without a trial with drones.
let our cell phones give away every movement
shut down one of the biggest cities in the country over two suspects?
letting cops take dna samples now?
@barnone you wanted new material.
I'm doing the @88m3 and rocking out...

I understand what ur saying, but Bush has the blood of THOUSANDS of young Americans who died in his worthless/false war on his hands. His war he waged on behalf of his daddy, or over oil, or whatever other baseless reason he had. And on top of all that, he has the fall of the ecnomony on his hands.
I hate to criticize Obama b/c A. he can only do so much due to Congress and B. b/c he's black......however I will go ahead say that he's not doing much good right now
I also just realized how fukking dumb this "the media didn't start to Criticize Bush until his 2nd term" argument is.
Obama also got a relative pass on Drones and Civil Liberties violations up into his election victory.
Also, how is that an argument?

I will admit mixing up the patriot, but I did state something to fact, it would never pass in congress, sohh the Bush Administration started passing laws in secrecy through the OLC.
I do remember there being some controversy around the time the time the measure was first introduced to the public. But within a couple months the media hype died down. I was probably 11 or 12 at the time btw...
@BarNone I conceded many pages ago that the mainstream media gave Bush a pass in the IRAQ War. That is exactly what your sources are saying. You and Serious specifically said that they didn't scrutinize the Patriot Act and that is garbage. I remember vividly those things being discussed in the media, but since I don't believe in anecdotal tales as evidence, I have provided about 20 or so links to prove it.

Obama 2007 said:For one thing, under an Obama presidency, Americans will be able to leave behind the era of George W. Bush, dikk Cheney and "wiretaps without warrants," he said. (He was referring to the lingering legal fallout over reports that the National Security Agency scooped up Americans' phone and Internet activities without court orders, ostensibly to monitor terrorist plots, in the years after the September 11 attacks.
i agree with everything youre saying. he just doesn't have to continue on bush's policies.
lets quote obama then. @Hiphoplives4eva is right, a snake-oil salesman.
Mos def, sounds about right. Like I said, I remember it being a big deal at the time, then over a couple months, people stopped caring.Breh, if you are trying to say that I'm in any way shape or form giving Bush a pass that is not the case. If it were up to me he and his cohorts would be sitting in a federal prison.
I remember vividly that time. The Patriot Act was the first thing that got my attention in terms of civil liberties. I was around 18 at the time and there was significant media reporting on it. I remember watching programs showing librarians protesting because the act allowed the government to snoop on what people were checking out.
As for the Iraq war, you won't get an argument from me on that. The mainstream media pushed for that shyt.

perhaps some things he said initially, once he got in office he saw would be better left alone. I don't know.
Personally, I don't think it's a huge deal like many. I highly doubt the govt really listens to every phone call, reads every text facebook, etc the way ppl are making it out to be.
How many people have planned out crimes and other illegal actions with others via facebook, phone, text message over the past several years? I'm sure TENS OF THOUSANDS have done so with no govt interference to stop them.
IMO, they probably have some technology to flag keywords or phrases, etc.
