It seems like to me that America is entering the beginning stages of a Corporatist society. It becomes even more clear when you see that the Dems and Repubs are more of the same and depending on who's in office, there's different agendas being pushed by different fragments of society. That could be the military, numerous businesses, Wall street, foreign interests, etc. The eroding of civil liberties and the unlimited power of the government is critical to the functioning of a Corporatist society. But it's impossible to see because corporations are not a person. They are their own entities swiftly moving through society and altering our lives in almost every way. These same corporations are exactly how Obama even got into office. Yes, with your "vote" but their campaign dollars. This is how the system is manipulated and controlled by hidden agendas. The surveillance of Americans has nothing to do with terrorists and everything to do with the citizens of the country and making sure the system runs smoothly. Why else would the government implement laws to arrest suspected "terrorists" at any time or the use of drones on American citizens? People need to wake up and get ready for the next phase.

Do you truly think these men have a thought of their own? These men have to make decision based off the agenda given. Most of the alternatives have the same agenda set with only minor difference to the approach. Romney in office would be ...same medical plan, same foreign policy but alittle more aggressive, same domestic policy.

This is what people though Obama would be for them.. I'm glad he was elected and did the same as what any politician would do. I feel that more people are aware now because of that.
