Nah you're sitting here blaming Sony for another companies missteps. I don't see you shytting on M$ nor Nintendo for $70 games. If you're going to be a stan, stand on that shyt.
Sony will always have PC as a competitor. I'm not super worried about competition. The PC world is run by Steam, but there was no price gouging, and you could even buy games cheaper at GMG or cdkeys. I'm not super worried.
Honestly, games should cost $100 with inflation and time. $70 seems fair. It's really $109 for the full game nowadays. We've been spoiled as gamers with cheap pricing.

Nintendo did, way back during the SNES days
And they gotten punished for it. From the GameCube to the Wii, games were $50 and reasonably priced.
EA benefitted with no competition with NFL games and ruined the Madden franchise. Lack of competition will make you entitled and lazy.
