More dialed into the ongoing of the brand than people who actually bought and have owned their consoles for years and even generations. I couldn't name more than 2 Xbox influencers and I've owned every Xbox since the original.

TBF i do think a lot of them were directly and indirectly eatin off xbox influencing. A lot of palm greasing behind the scenes, a long with all these sponsored ads and podcast, etc.

Man, seeing how Microsoft with all their resources got wiped out, I don't even think many companies will try.

If someone does try they should have a considerable background in entertainment and/or games like Sony and Nintendo. Someone in it for the right reasons and it's spirit comes from the right, pure place. Sony and Nintendo additionally have heavy experience being hardware and electronics companies.

Right now though, I think most people are completely fine with these two. They had years of co-existence at one point with the PS1 and N64 and a lot of history between them as many of Sony's gaming catalog were titles and franchises that Nintendo built and launched.

Microsoft fukked up letting buffoons run Xbox. Nothing more, nothing less.

Ain't shyt free in this world. You spend almost 80 billion on something, you want to start to recoup those costs. What they were told about the means of recouping wasn't happening the way it was sold (increased hardware and gamepass subs), so Nutella and the CFO said enough of the bullshyt, and want their money. Only way was opening up to other platforms, even if they are competitors. Hardware is selling worse than the previous gen as well. It's over for them hardware wise. Dunno what they gonna do with Gamepass as both Sony and Nintendo won't want it on their platforms either.


It's over for dem nikkaz. They gotta go full 3rd party publisher so they can start to recoup. OG Xbox and first half of the 360 was good, but it's been shyt since.
