Living in a 4bdrm house paying 300 cdn a month.

Only thing expensive is internet as it's around 60 for unlimited internet

Phone paying 6 a month
Buy fruits and veggies from the market but I got a jackfruit and avocado tree in my backyard

This is dirt cheap Brothers can live like a King over there.

I get you’re married but those Ugandan Lake Victoria Luo’s have some of the biggest asses in Africa only certain South African women come close.

What can you do on the lake beach? Can you swim or its it just boat activities? Can you Jet ski?

I gotta check it out when I’m back in Kenya.

Wild to hear that you’re renting a 4 bedroom house for 217 bucks a month.

Is there a reason that you’re not buying? In Kenya land titles are Janky so If I did buy it would be a condo unit in the heart of the city simply because buying land in the country is likely to be a fake title even if you go to the proper authorities.

Other questions what’s the best hospital in Uganda do they have an Aga Khan hospital?

How easy it it so get things shipped over there? Kenya has several good companies where you can get something from Amazon in about 2 weeks. That’s better than Colombia.

In Kenya I prefer Box Kenya.

Yup like a king , the average Ugandan makes like 600-800k a month

Yeah Ugandan women have enormous asses . Every day I see the type of ass that if she was in the states would have 200k followers and living off only fans but they working at carrefour or kfc

People swim, jetski, also go on boat cruises etc. also people fish the tilapia is God tier

Renting is cheaper to me, buying will be like 150k, plus we are just waiting on either my wife to give birth first or her permanent residency for Canada to process

I see brand new condos for like 80k though

Yup there is an aga khan but I think the best is c-care

Shipping isn't that bad there is fed ex DHL, Aramex etc.

Just that the taxes on anything imported are crazy.

Yeah and I know that you went Native in a way that most expats don’t but when you want something you want it.

Do you have Ugandan or Recent African heritage?

I don’t remember you speaking on why you moved to Uganda why Uganda?

Hey breh take your time everyday is like a payday based on the money that you save by being there

For example if you spend a million shillings a month that’s 271 USD a month so a breh making as little as a grand in passive income is saving 700 bucks a month easily. You bank that money in a local and US HYSA without even investing at say a 8% return and in 15 years you’re living lovely.

Again it’s not the answer for everyone but for those it applies to Living in Uganda is way cheaper than working hard in America it’s like you’re getting paid to live there.

My advice is be extremely careful with buying brand new.

The one downside of the third world is some of the janky ass builds

far better to get a spot that’s been up for awhile to see how it shakes out.

I lived in a new development in Nai in fact it was so new that they didn’t even have a paved road there yet. Problem was they cheaped out on the pipes that needed to get replaced (partially my fault didn’t know I needed a grease trap and a dishpan) they had suicide showers the bathroom light while it worked was kinda janky but the biggest issue was the staff stole the light bill money. You’d get a bill but you paid through the Rental office they stole the money for the eletricity and water bills and people got cut off.

I moved out before this happened but I heard about it in the communities Group chat.

Yup the cola is so low. That 271 usd I'm spending I can even downgrade I saw decent places for like 500k but the space was smaller and farther from th main road.

Also people here are much more friendly.

You even see little kids walking around by themselves in USA or Canada they'd be snatched

Yup that's why I'm good with renting anything I call the landlord or I just deduct from the next month rent

You live in Africa and I tell people think of Living in Africa like living in the ghetto in a hood McDonalds where they have Ham but no Burger.

So even when I had to fix my suicide shower head I had the buildings super do it for me and deducted it from the rent.

That way if the super overcharged me the owner would holla at him because he would get less rent.

Again you’re doing the right save and stack invest the savings.

Do you live in a totally wealthy area or an area where there’s middle class people near you.

I lived near a middle class neighborhood it wasn’t bad low crime and plenty of places to shop.

Living in a totally high end place is cool but it makes you car dependent and you pay more for everything in the few stores that exist out there.

That’s another thing little kids be chilling and I asked how these kids be out here unsupervised and I was told people don’t fukk with kids and if they did they’d be super violated so for the most part kids are kids and not social media addled brats like in the states.

I don’t got to tell you but if you bought bonds or even put a couple stacks in Equity Bank account the interest rates on that money is crazy you could get as much as 12% apr on that money.

Again you’re putting much needed hard currency in their banks they will pay you well for it.
