The ravages of the crack epidemic put black folks off drugs for a few decades but you start hanging out with white kids they doing drugs and we look up to them what do you expect?

Keep white folks out of hip hop.

Funny u mention these tools of INTENTIONAL OPPRESSION but conviently (or unknowingly) failed to mention "media propaganda" as a tool of white supremacy. Ive listed ALL of those things in previous threads in an attempt to explain "systemic oppression". You're not dropping ANYTHING new here. :dead:Matter fact, since you are aware of the INTENTIONAL plan to oppress the black race (usually i get called a conspiricist for bringing it up) im very suprised that you are ignorant regarding "media propaganda". Its a tool also like those tactics you listed. Remember breh, to control a mass amount of people physically its VITAL to control their minds. This goes back to slave days. How the hell do u think millions of slaves were kept in control, subservient and docile? The answer is their MINDS were under the white mans control. The exact same thing is happening today breh. We are still being conditioned and brainwashed today mentally. Do u not think so? Those things that you listed, are they still going on today? If so, best believe that mental brainwashing is too. Here's a very short clip explaining "mental propaganda", an extremely real tool of oppression(along with the ones you listed). And by the way i could care less about what u think about Umar personally. Peep his msg and let me know what u think if u choose to watch. Remember that the worst mistake we make is viewing this tool of oppression as simply "entertainment", and thats why its so effective.

I knew it was only a matter of time before someone posted an Umar video, or something from Tariq Nasheed, or some shyt from that Poor Righteous Teachers nikka (you hit 2/3).

Again, we have no disagreement on the idea of mainstream media being a tool for generating revenue, pushing political agendas, and capitalizing on emotions and fears. A much more compelling read by the way:

For the fifth time, what goes on in the streets of "black" America is beyond anything ever recorded in a booth or put to celluloid. It has been going on for decades, long before hip-hop existed as an artistic or revenue-generating medium.

You keep ignoring the following:

nikkas were listening to Charlie Parker and Monk, blacks were in bad shape (folks used to call Jazz they "devil's music").
nikkas were listening to Coltrane and Miles, blacks were in bad shape
nikkas were listening to the Supremes, blacks were in bad shape
nikkas were listening to Marvin Gates, Curtis Mayfield, and Issac Hates, blacks were in bad shape
nikkas were listening to Freda Payne and the Jackson 5, blacks were in bad shape
nikkas were listening to Michael Jackson and Barry Gibb, bad shape
nikkas were listening to Chicago house music, bad shape
nikkas were going to block parties, listening to Bambaataa, Melly Mel, and Fab Five Freddy, bad shape
nikkas were listening to Public Enemy, bad shape

nikkas were listening to Ice Cube, bad shape
nikkas were listening to De La Soul, Tribe, PRT, bad shape
nikkas listening to No Limit and Cash Money, bad shape
nikkas listening to Jay-Z and Kanye, bad shape
nikkas listening to Future and Drake, bad shape

The bolded were some of the absolute worst times for black street crime in America. Vietnam era inner-cities look like Dresden. Crack epidemic cities look like Germany Year Zero.

There are millions of people who listen to contemporary rap music, only a small percentage of them are committing aggravated assaults, rapes, and murders.

...you over hear talking about Future and Lil' Wayne instead of how to make an actual day-to-day difference in these kids lives. :snoop:

Right, this is a fundamental difference. You've obviously never worked with and connected with kids. :yeshrug:

So basicly instead of acknowledging that current hiphop and media in general is being used to keep a certain segment of the population in a certain mindset and wanting to make and see changes, you're gonna take the meek, docile approach of "bu bu but we've always been fukked up!!":bryan: and be ok with 90% of music aimed at the black youth promoting a destructive lifestyle. You do realize that rap is the main reason that the word "thug" is synonymous with the black male rite? Let me guess your response to that: "bu bu but they think we're thugs anyway!!" :bryan: Dude i worked in a youth detention center for 2 years and you're obviously out of touch if u think those kids would do that. You're working with the 1percentile in the world if u think thats true.

I think a lot of us do things to attract women. So a lot of black women have to like these types for a lot of black men to change

Threads like this ALWAYS expose how conciously brainwashed and conditioned we are as a people. We are blind to whats rite in front of our faces and flooding our airwaves. Damn near everything we see and hear is for a specific purpose. Nothing is by coincidence. When i make threads like this the only 2 rappers that yall ever bring up in dispute is Cole and Lamar. Ya know why? Cuz thats literally all you can name in the mainstream. The rest is poison aimed at our youth to promote a destructive lifestyle. You will never hear this type of music by whites artists aimed at the white youth. Its a totally different vibe. Pleasant ill say. Black music has turned dark and demonic. This is by design. Im in Memphis,TN rite this second as i type this. I have the radio on the rap station. Literally every song is about drug use, h0es, extreme materialism and violence against other black ppl. Mainly drug use. This is continued brainwashing of our people. Again, how do yall think slaves were kept in check? Mindcontrol. Yall know the Harriet Tubman quote: "i couldve freed 1000 more slaves if only they knew they were slaves". Their minds were controlled. Same thing is happening now yall. Dont listen to these cats saying that this culture and its participants have no affect. NOT TRUE!!! We're playing rite into the hands of white supremists by singing, dancing and calling music that promotes our own genocide as "just entertainment".

You are the one whose vilifying black artists and condemning their means of legal income.....

Take your self-hating issues elsewhere...Hip hop is a symptom NOT the root or solution for the black community

Nah man, hip-hop was responsible for urban blight in the 60's, 70's, and 80's.

Lil' Wayne and Future were sent back in time to influence the black youth of those eras to systematically destroy their communities.

If you can't see that, you've been brainwashed by the white devil. :skip:
