I saw Reservoir Dogs for the first time last night. I was at the use of ****** in the movie especially since there was no black ppl in the movie not even as an extra so I dont know why he would use it in this film.

no it aint..he said it was disrespectful this n that...and he never even seen the movie to judge for himself...that's some rookie shyt a regular viewer could do..but a fukkin seasoned filmed vet like spike should fukkin know better...there's plenty of movies I wrote off cause I thought it was about one thing from the trailer and then I end up seein the movie randomly and it shocked the fukk outta me cause it wasn't what I thought it was...and what makes it so bad is he's been doin this type of bullshyt for YEARS...and this is prolly one of the reason's he can't get people to work wit him anymore...

Reading is fundamental. You obviously didn't read the piece in the 1st post. Spike's position is that the premise of the movie is disrespectful. He did not have to see the movie to know what the premise of it was. Damn some of you are dumb.

I read the damn qoute itself weeks ago...fukk the first post...ur the dumb one...I also know how to read BETWEEN the lines...the nikka got on his soapbox and made an opinion on a movie he didnt see...I wouldn't have even cared if he saw the movie and actually had legit criticism...And felt that same way...broke shyt down or whatever...like someone of his stature should have done..especially knowing how much his opinion is valued in the black community...if u agree with him..fine..but dont go shytting on people cause they have a different opinion than u...I feel honestly dude shouldnt have judged a book by its cover...

But his comments were also about the use of a word in the script that obviously belonged in the script and the tone of the movie...You really can't capture the tone of a movie strictly from scripts most of the time (any Coen brothers movie is a testament to this). Has he watched the movie, then made his comments...Then I could respect his opinion a lot more, but I don't think you can speak on premise or tone strictly by script reading and word of mouth. That's my real issue with it.
