What did he do, he brought a bunch of people out and did nothing with that political capital. His signature policy was still a corporate giveaway, after doing bailouts.

He had people engaged and shilling at an all time high. He cant be responsible to keep the ball rolling. It was understood the odds he had against him. Just admit the Dems damn sure havent been strategizing in their war room like the Republicans have. The Dems are beholden to their donors. Do you think corporate Republican donors and the rich care if Republicans come out and appeal to the poor, and talk shyt about rich people:mjlol:? No,as long as you get into office and do the opposite.

Meanwhile the gays and jews demand Democrats glaze them publically, despite how unpopular they are at the moment. And yeah I guess we as black people did make this same demand for once too. But instead we got scolded more than Netanyahu:respect:

The fact that obama with a middle name hussein running for president while the iraq war was still ongoing against the terrorists, not only won the election in an electoral landslide against a war hero and then won re election with a poor economy is even more impressive, obama is still the most succesful democratic president of the past 30 years, Clinton as well was a seasoned politician with charisma who defeated an incumbent president
Obama timing in 2008 was very good.
America was coming off 8 years of republican rule. GWB is constantly ridiculed and a political pinata, the Iraq war a disaster. People want change. They don't want another old fart warhawk like McCain.

Enter Obama, a very eloquent and confident young man who runs on platform of change and hope. Something that people eat up like hot cakes. The internet is not as ubiquitous and it's just starting to get traction with smartphones. Most people on internet 24/7 still referred to as nerds. People aren't anywhere as divisive in general.

Obama is generally liked by everyone. People think they are going to get Bill Clinton part two

Those criticisms are valid however hindsight is not 20/20 and people really thought Hillary had next. I vividly remember being in college ten years ago and my poly sci teacher was so confident in her becoming the next president and I think I was the only one who was skeptical but mfs thought I was crazy.

Well this is a problem we have been dealing with for the last 10 years. There is a messaging divide and the Dems have the corporate elite team even though the Republicans are worse. They keep shytting on their base over and over again and expecting them to turn out. Obama seemingly kept the base from leadership all of the time.
Eventually you’ll get to the point of realizing algorithms win elections now. Your reality is not everyone else’s. Most whites are racists and there algorithm feeds them trump because it’s what they watch. Game over.
Trump won't really gain much of a coalition this election. The Dems just didn't turn out their voters. They are at like a 15 million deficit from 2020. It's not just algorithms, people aren't getting their needs met

Trump wasn’t even around in 2014 at least in a prominent political position and people underestimated him and thought he was a joke which is understandable his politics were unconventional and unprecedented

Yep, True also. Kamala is not in the algorithm like trump is. He went through Aiden Ross, Rogan, akademiks, etc. he played the game better. I believe the dems knew they were losing and recklessly threw her out with 4 months left to lose. fukked up for black women because she will be the last for a long time.

Yes I know this, the Dems need to run as a counter to this. Not run as a softer version of the republicans.
So when the coli was pro Trump they should've had the democrats go further left???

You do realized that Kamala lost white girls and latinos right?

We have had an income inequality problem for a very long time, when dems get into power they run on making the corporate class better thinking that "a rising tide lifts all boats" - Obama

This is happening all around the planet in "western democracies", the rich keep owning more and more and the "left" parties act like giving poor people money is blasphemy. The right is at least offering something, even if its just hate.
Then maybe te dems should offer hate then that way they get corporate money and win selections.
