And no it's not Obama's fault. The country showed its ass and now has to stand on it. That's all.

Long story short, America gave all of us our wake-up call.

There was definitely a political cost to electing Obama that people will never get truly honest about, and what we got in the form of policy was nowhere near what was spent getting him in there.

2008: Obama runs on massive change, has insane wins, has the house and a senate super majority

Runs business as usual and bailed out big business.

2010: Loses midterms, gets shellacked. Signs in the ACA, which is better than before but is still a corporate giveaway

2012: Makes some ground back but again, nothing fundamentally changes

2016: We could've had the Biden vs Bernie primary and Obama makes the call for Joe to step down to make Hillary the candidate.

2020: When it looks like Bernie is pulling ahead Obama makes the call for every other Dem to drop out and endorse a Biden who was already showing signs of his brain missing.

2024: Lectures black men about misogyny while the black male vote is the same.

Now we are at his vice presidents vice president taking a historic L because the Obama coalition fell apart chasing corporate interests over policies that truly help people. Since he has left office he just shows up every 4 years to fukk up the bag and then makes millions on movie production. Yes you can go back to Clinton as well for starting triangulation but damn this nikka had so much momentum and we are living in the shadows of his failures to meet the moment.

You get it :wow:

Capitalism is the leopard that ate their face. Dems kept feeding it and feeding it. Well look at that. All those corporations and big tech a$$holes still just support getting more money and power. And sure they’ll get a lot with neoliberal democrats, but that pales in comparison to how they can rape the American public with republicans.

Obama was a solid president but he was business as usual.

Let’s Discuss Trump’s Term:

- Favored the wealthy
- Increased financial inequality and national debt
- Sidelined traditional conservatives
- Poorly addressed social issues
- Influenced the election of unsatisfactory candidates

Both parties are left with internal divisions.

However, Trump has a new agenda that, if he follows even some of it, could wreak havoc on the nation.
Not to mention a record low approval rating

My Pops Forever RIP
They need to move on from him and the Clintons. They need to stop parading both of them while campaigning. It’s a new era.
if they never had Obama and the Clintons, Democrats would find out we don't like anyone in the party. I mean they had to spin the block on Jimmy Carter and damn near make people forget that he wasn't exactly beloved either but fukk it he's 100 years old and 75% dead.

Yeah it's a new era, but because nobody apparently found anyone to support, we get all these "might as well" candidates and that's gonna end horribly. I'm not saying you need a candidate where you gotta let everything slide the way Republicans do for Trump, but Democrats don't have anyone even close to having the numbers to rally behind out of genuine love and support for that person. The next candidate can't be someone where we go "well I guess that's who it is :manny:"

but asking the Democrats to move from the only people other Democrats even somewhat support is like telling the Atlanta Hawks to leave Dominique Wilkins the hell alone.

LeBron James and the Bucks stood up against racism, showing how important athletes can be in fighting for change. Barack Obama supported them to help raise awareness, not just to focus on basketball. But you know this already - bot.

I had a former NFL asst tell me that when Texans former owner McNair made the comment about “inmates running the asylum” during the Kaepernick kneeling controversy, that the owners were scared to death that the players wouldn’t show up to play that Sunday. Those players could have gotten the owners to do ANYTHING and instead they showed up just as splintered. Eventually they got a Black Lives Matter decal on the helmet, and they perform the Black national anthem and it’s never even aired.

Bob McNair made that comment in 2017, learning nothing, Obama talked the Bucks players to negotiate away their only leverage for a Black Lives Matter sticker on the court for a couple of months in 2020. That wasn’t Obama place at all. His place was to call his political peers and former powerful billionaire donors and lecture THEM and pass along our message, not the other way around.

Obama is the player that won back to back titles 15 years ago but has had an awful record as a coach. Whoever the next Obama is, I don’t expect Barack to be able to identify that person.
