And I answered your questionI wasn't commenting on you leaving DC to go live with Bubba and nem. I was just asking if you lived in the sweltering hot, humid ass District of Columbia?

Go wherever your can make the most money. Life is getting too expensive
There's more to life than 'making the most money'.
Isn’t this all worse in Southern metropolitan areas?
Is that right ?? You speaking from a position of privilege people out here losing their homes and starving.
This is a discussion about people who have the means to move down south in the first place. When it comes to those people, yes, there is more to life than making the most possible money.
I guess. Most people I know from the north who move south are at least partially motivated by lower cost of living . With prices up everywhere not sure how much that applies anymore.
I ain’t going down there
What I’ve noticed as a black man in the south is to try to draw less attention to yourself as possible. Them dudes riding around playing there music loud and flashy be targets by law enforcement. Yo they’ll give you a ticket for playing your music loud. And if they pull you over and smell weed you’re done. So just try not to draw attention to yourself. Also back in the days if I go into unfamiliar territory to see a broad I met definitely play it cool and be humble.Aren't laws in the South generally more draconian and sentencing extreme and severe?
Are Black people in the South more likely to get profiled and arrested as opposed to elsewhere or its equal?

What I’m saying is if you’re black here be on top of your game don’t give law enforcement no reason to come your way.Black people are generally very visible, we stick out like a sore thumb whether silent or loud..if you can't be yourself and just be free is the South really that great?
Those maga red state politicians are spewing open fascism daily too.
If the State is majority Black and the Senator, Governor, Attorney General Black too then maybe.
