I watched some highlights our secondary was getting torched .from starters too the 4th qtr .
Our whole scheme is based off the line getting pressure. If no pressure then our backs are getting burned.
It’s been like that since Schwartz been here.
We always give up big yards, and rely on getting turnovers.

Mailata was fine, but the best offensive player? I’d have to disagree. Dillard and Vaitai were better on the O-Line. Mailata’s still very much a work-in-progress. But at least he’s better than Matt Pryor. :yeshrug:

I’m so excited for Andre Dillard. For the first time in years, I’m not quite as afraid of Jason Peters getting hurt. I still wouldn’t want him to, obviously, but I at least feel like Dillard can step up in case the worst happens. I still can’t believe people were criticizing the pick.

I feel like Dillard did a good job as well.

I fukks with Baldy but he is buggin ..and he goes overboard on dudes sometime

The best offensive player hands down was Goedert than Dillard. Mialata was pretty good.

The thing Mialata does that I dont like is ,he almost pushes the DE in front of the qb assuming he can recover and throw his jab ...its presumptious to think that will work just bc he is a freak athlete.

Baldy is our homer though. His break downs are typically dope, but he sure does go heavy with the hyperbole.

Jamar Chaney as the best or one of the best LB's in the league was and still is laughable. Though Chaney had impressed early on, I give him that.

From what I read, the injuries to Lane and Goedert aren't thought to be serious and they're expected to be available Week 1 - they'll probably just be held out of preseason. So hopefully that's the case. I hope Doug holds the rest of the starters out, too. I don't want to THINK about the situation if any of the remaining starters - Carson, Kelce, DJax, etc. - get hurt.

But yeah, the number of injuries are becoming worrisome. I'm hoping that we're just getting these out of the way now and won't have to deal with this bullshyt during the regular season.

On the positive side of things, Derek Barnett participated today. Looks like he'll be back very soon. Really need him to be able to step up this year.

Retire the #9 in Philly in due time

Yahoo is now part of Oath

Now with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Foles spent a few minutes with NBC Sports Philadelphia reporter Derrick Gunn on Tuesday.

Gunn asked Foles why he’s opted to wear No. 7 with the Jaguars instead of No. 9, which he wore in both of his stints with the Philadelphia Eagles.

“Number 9 stays in Philadelphia,” Foles told Gunn. “That number means a lot to me. It pertains to that city.”

It’s the number Foles was wearing when he stepped in for the injured Carson Wentz late in the 2017 season and helped lead the Eagles to their first-ever Super Bowl championship, over the New England Patriots.

Foles has not previously worn No. 7 during his NFL career.
