Howie probably saw enough tonight to realize he needs to be working the phones until we get some competency behind Wentz. Whether that be by trade or the slim pickings of the FA market. But Howie is gunna Howie all damn week.

I think the eagles were set to draft carson college back up in the 5th rd, i forget his name but when the chargers took him..i think howie panicked and drafted this fukkin scrub
His name is Easton Stick.
That's exactly what I think happened. Lurie already said that the Eagles want to be drafting a QB every couple years or so, so they came into the draft with the intention of finding one in the later rounds. They guys they wanted were off the board, so they reached and took Thorson.
Hmmm, that kinda gives me nepotism (not truly but you get me) vibes that I am not all that comfortable with. But maybe his backup was kinda nice with it and would have been deserving. I see the Chargers game is on now, so maybe I need to check for him to see what he is all about.
