Ridder at the very least looks like he belongs, wouldn’t mind rolling with him next year because he’s so cheap just to see what the ceiling is.

Most likely a Tannehill tier guy

Breh is decent at best. We need a QB capable of pushing the ball down the field, if you look at how they’re playing him he’s not making plays in the passing game deep, it’s all underneath passes.

They said he’s got the whole play book but it looks like Mariota Part 2

There’s not that much talent at receiver out there and I think the Oline is a bit overrated in the pass blocking department.

I think if they find themselves out of position to get their QB this year just roll with him.

He’s way more decisive and accurate than Marcus was with the ball, but you are right that theyre not really throwing deep

Mariota had the whole playbook too, it's just a weakass playbook :manny:

Falcons offseason for me.

1. Fill all holes in FA
2. Take risky signings
3. Use the draft for BPA
4. Look for great trades

38 Players
8 picks
70 million in cap space

Resign: Oliver, Pruitt, McGary, Ola, Pinion, Byrd
Extension: Lindstrom
Budget: 20 million.
6 players- 44

Cut: Mariota, Mykal Walker and Fitzpatrick saves 13 million. We probably got to cut at least 5 more.

63 million in cap
41 players

FA signings:
FA Budget: 48 million
Player signing limits: 8 players
Blockbuster signings: None

Quality signings: Dre'Mont Jones or Dalvin Tomlinson, LaVonta David, Yannick Ngakoue, Melvin Ingram, Patrick Peterson, another starting LB, a NT, another starting CB

I want to give two year deals to older vets for an overpay to help the kids like Grant, Anderson, and Terrell. Hayward was a tremendous signing till he got hurt this year.

Draft is BPA. That's different for everyone.

After the draft, look to sign a QB or trade for one. I don't mind Ridder being the only QB on the roster till the draft.

QB guys I am interested in: Jacoby Brissett, Trey Lance, Jordan Love, and Tyler Hundley. I really don't want to spend more than 10 million on a QB combined so that limits our options to the garbage bin or trades. Jordan Love is most intriguing. I would definitely reach out to Green Bay about him. 79 PFF grade is nice and he looks good on tape. Unlikely Brissett will sign for less than 15 million

QB Ridder* needs real comp
RB Allegier
FB the kid they just signed, let Smith walk
WR1 London
WR2 Zaccheaus
TE1 Pitts
LT Matthews
LG Wilkerson or Henny
C Dalman* needs to be replaced as a starter
RG Lindstrom
RT McGary

D

DE Tomlinson or Jones
DT Ingram
DE Jarrett
EDGE LB Ebikete
LB FA
LB David
EDGE LB Yannick Ngakoue
CB Terrell
CB Hayward
S Grant
S P. Peterson or Oliver

I’ll talk off-season once this season is over but QB & DL have to be the two biggest areas of concern

Falcons will have money this off-season to fill holes but Ridder ain’t it and Dean Pees needs to retire. We have 37 sacks over the last 2 seasons COMBINED (worst in the NFL over that span by a big margin) and currently have the 31st ranked passing offense. We’ve gotta get better in those two areas
