Dean Pees do y'all bring him back next season?

Bro might retire. I think he needs to go either way, his scheme hasn’t worked. We need a new DC and then go get players to fit that scheme

As for your point about Drake, he had a really good rookie season all things considered, but he’s currently the only Falcons WR under contract after this season so clearly we need to figure that out. Drake was never supposed to be a deep threat per se more of a big target along with Pitts. He’s not a burner

My opinion on Ridder pretty much unchanged. Let the breh start next season and if he stinks it up all in for Maye or Caleb. If he’s decent he’s on a 3rd round pick contract for a couple more years

I didn’t see anything from Ridder that got me excited…that said maybe he gets better next season and over the offseason but he was pretty average to me

I view Ridder as Rus Wilson 2.0.

:mjlol: I’ll say that my opinion is somewhere in the middle of these 2, and if I’m right, it’s excellent value for a 3rd round pick contract

I think he’s a competent NFL QB and would serve as a solid backup. Nothing wrong with that

I just didn’t see enough to say he’s the guy…to his credit he did get better from his first start vs NO to today but we either need him to take a huge leap of go get a QB in the offseason

And this kind of leads to the elephant in the room. Arthur Smith fukked up royally not letting him start after Carolina. We lost Pitts( not his fault) and couldn’t get anything going in the passing game.

But at least we could have gotten a sample with Pitts and London

I don’t think he was ready

Mariota forced their hand but the organization was trying to tell everyone that Ridder wasn’t ready to be the full time starting QB any sooner than coming out of the BYE to play at NO
