Only rule I don’t like is the 2 throw over limit. I feel like as a runner if you bait it twice you pretty much have the green light to run.
White Sox are putting on some sort of clinic in Oakland tonight
I do like that. I want to see more stolen bases. Those are exciting plays.Only rule I don’t like is the 2 throw over limit. I feel like as a runner if you bait it twice you pretty much have the green light to run.
I like the pitch clock. Some of these people take too long in between pitches. I don't like banning the shift. Hitters are highly paid professionals who should be able to figure out how to beat a shift. If not, there's somebody in Double A working on it.
Yes this is what gets me , solid hits aren’t hits because of this bullshyt, like yeah That can happen with bad luck like a line drive right at someone but we shouldn’t promote that shyt and that was never part of the game it was never super computers positioning players totally completely out of position on every play , now people want to act like that was always how the games been played just because technically you could’ve done that but nobody did .I will say this, I did like that rule where if you bring in a reliever he has to face at least 3 batters. It was so tiring to see a manager bring in a lefty reliever to face a lefty batter, 4 pitch walk, then another pitching change to bring in a righty vs righty. This shyt was awful.
You know how many times I watched Bobby Valentine bring in Dennis Cook just for him to throw 4 sliders in the dirt.
I kinda feel you with this frustration, but it's a difficult argument to win. The other night I saw 4 batters hit grounders right up the middle behind the 2nd base bag, only for there to be a fielder right there, like wtf? 4 singles turned into groundouts.
These infielders are gonna have to start showing range again.
Shoutout to Rey Ordonez.
It's also crazy how hitters just never adapted to these shifts.
No because they defended their territory very well. Also, hitters were better equipped to hit to all fields. That’s another good point that I hadn’t thought of but just heard brought up , it will definitely bring better defense back like aesthetically Would visquel or Ozzie smith have even been in position to make all those plays and show that athleticism or just standing totally out of position where some computer told them too , this shyt is not real baseball this shift era
