I was talking to my boy about this earlier. Of course he isn't for it because he was a pitcher in school. Same argument: Batters need to adjust and go the other way... it's kind of hard to do that when guys are pitching you into the shift. And like you said, hard af.Yes this is what gets me , solid hits aren’t hits because of this bullshyt, like yeah That can happen with bad luck like a line drive right at someone but we shouldn’t promote that shyt and that was never part of the game it was never super computers positioning players totally completely out of position on every play , now people want to act like that was always how the games been played just because technically you could’ve done that but nobody did .
Then people act act like it’s so easy to just hit it the other way , it’s not 20 years ago you are facing a different pitcher every time throwing 103 mph, this isn’t your fukking beer league.
I’m not saying it’s not fun at times to see a pitchers duel I don’t want Homerun derby every game but clearly it’s shifted too far in the pitchers direction the past few years and this shyt is boring as fukk
You have regulars in lineups with 158 batting average shyt is crazy
What are the odds the Dodgers sign both Judge and DeGrom? Of course I hope this doesn't happen but I wouldn't be surprised if Judge and DeGrom get signed to the same team and form a baseball super team with ethier the Dodgers or Padres
DeGrom has said his goal is to end up in the HOF and the Mets rarely give them run support in most starts, he probably can't wait to bounce
OPS across the bigs is .707 right now; 15 years ago it was .758. BA is .243 and 15 years ago it was .268. The game is regressing and something needed to be done to promote hitting again.
